Why do we even play this game the community get's ignored
Every time i see suggestions for new things to be added into the game or just idea's they are always ignored by development i mean it's ridiculous they don't communicate better with us they do there own thing and say screw what everyone else wants especially us console players the text chat thread for text chat to be added to the console version has a crap ton of pages of pol wanting it to be adde yet it isn't something is going to have to change or i for one am going back to other mmo's and i suggest others do the same

Dru1076✭✭✭✭I don't think they ignore these threads...but I do believe they should communicate better. From what I've seen, if they fail to respond in a thread regarding something like text chat for consoles, it is because they can't fix it or the "problem" being discussed is not seen as an issue by developers.

What i want it's what everyone else wants also for crying out loud especially us console players just want some attention i know for one i feel like we are ignored the most all we want is the same thing pc/mac has xp numbers shown dmg number shown and a text chat system it isn't to much to ask for but no they don't care it's almost like they forgot it was on xbox one and ps4 or something1 -
I don't think they ignore these threads...but I do believe they should communicate better. Yeah I know what you would like to see. More interaction and open discussion with devs from Zos. But the rate at which Zos can actually implement change or fix issues is so pathetic they just don't talk about it. It's been this way since pc launch and it's not about to change.4 -

Those people can beg for text chat all they want but it was stated before console launch it won't happen and I seriously doubt that will ever change. Seriously adding text chatting to console versions is a terrible idea considering how long it takes to type messages in with the method we have for messaging already. Also whenever an area is super crowded such as Elden Root Services for instance the health bars over all the players flicker due to there being so many so that is something else to keep in mind.
I do not know how clear they are truly being when they do respond but far as I can tell they do acknowledge things they wish to acknowledge. If you look at the recent poll, 62% (over twice as many people) were happy and excited about the expansion. Only 20% were butthurt about it... But if you looked at the trending posts here? You'd have a different impression. Mostly because the same complainers are vocal and will continuously post their complaints over and over and over and chime in on every thread with the same drivel.

And im not really suprised if devs wouldnt look around all those topic when people cant even post threads in proper section.

PVP whines and and question about tactics like "how to kill x build" are spamming general discussion instead of being in PVP combat thread
Dev comes into a topic and is supposed to figure out what OP really want? Not to mention cases where OP doesnt really know what he wants.

Because some parts of it are just that awesome....and it has potential to be great. It's not a one and done game like Skyrim ("I" hated that one above the others I played) This is an MMO, it has room to grow. It's just in it's infancy.If options weren't necessary, and everyone played the same way, no one would use addons. Fix the UI!1 -

Many new players have join the community and want to hear there thought now, and it is more then just text chat. - I utterly despise Zenimax their lies, how they ignore real issues this game has, how they try to silence people pointing out their bull****
- But hell, i ****ing love the game so much that ill stick through it no matter what.

Also not every idea that the community or the players think is a good idea will be one that ZOS of the developers think is a good idea. End of the day this is their game and they will develop it how they want.

But I am also strongly convinced now (after reading quite a few articles) that we should recognize the fact that none of the bad things happening to the game is Zenimax Online Studios fault (including myself, i've been bashing ZoS way too much in the past). The evil behind is Zenimax Media and they are quite immune to criticism.
I believe people at ZOS love the game as much as players do they simply can't do much.
You can see it, for example, by how understaffed they are when it comes to Game Masters. For example i have been reporting few bots in Five Fingers Dance for over a month almost every day with detailed information (including timecoding their macro queue) and bots persisted. Meanwhile I had issues with vDSA loot issues and got (after 2 weeks) into personal conversation with a GM, I used the fact to show him Five Fingers Dance problem GM told me HE HAD NO IDEA ABOUT THE ISSUE.
And we can't blame ZoS for not employing more GM that's pure ZM.This signature has been censored.0 -

So post your email here and we'll all send you messages asking questions, making suggestions and generally sharing our opinion and you HAVE to reply to every single post.... In a way that pleases us all too.
There's hundreds of thousands (if not millions) of players and a similar number of threads out there.
There's simply no way they can provide feedback to EVERYONE and even less possibility of pleasing every player that has an issue.

DaveTheMinion✭✭✭Give the developers and staff a break, so far all I have seen is negativity towards them, if the game is not what you expected, get over it and find something you do like, if the game has a bug or an issue that prevents you playing, report it, but give them time to sort the issues out, it's not a simple job.

You see people work out elaborate details for how spell crafting or the justice system or crafting research timers could work, but it doesn't bear any relation to the reality of the game code.
Or to put it more simply: they can't implement everyone's pet mini-project.1 -

just being curious but what makes you think you have the right to tell the game developers what should and shouldn't be in a game and how it should be developed??? you only bought the game, there wasn't a code in the box you could enter for a job at the studio!
