I have no intention of using such a thing, I am simply curious what it is all of the "Big kids" are talking about. Using exploits to kill challenge or for laughs is no fun anyway. Go legit or go home I say.

Well as I was told even though I didn't want to is that camo hunter gives damage boost and of course even more to undead/daedra and that base damage boost with out the extra to daedra can be stack infi times making even the weakest of skills a nuke. So use it 5 times and a stealth snipe gives basicly high one shots

See a lot of crying about this...
I assume the same people cried about shield stacking when it was discovered among
the plethora of exploits that his game HAS those haven not been fixed yet
what makes you guys think this will be fixed? Because of QQ?

Well unlike shield stacking and block casting the camo hunter was NOT left in on purpose. So of course it's on the list of exploits that need fixing UNLIKE shield stacking which is clearly a exploit but ZoS don't seem to think so.

Alright being new to the game I assume that all the so called "exploits" that many have claimed over the year have been left as "working as intended" then there is little hope for hotfixes for this kind of thing. But honestly you can see lots of exploiting in PVP it's the meta that the elitists look for to dominate

Yea, lately running around in pvp was really disappointing. Had to discover that even players that I saw as very skilled players stopped to play fair. Camo Hunter, Dawnbreaker smite all the time...

Makes me even think - were they ever more skilled than others or did they just find the exploits earlier before others did? I really had some respect for the skilled gameplay of some players but this has dropped as I haven´t seen one lately not using at least one broken thing in this game...

To my knowledge, they don't ban for anything in PvP.

I've seen people banned for other exploits such as the duping bug and for gold seller spam. But in PvP, it soon becomes clear people aren't getting banned, so everyone starts using the same exploit, if easy to reproduce, until they finally fix it or remove it from the game.

A mate of mine got perma banned for buying raw materials from some player, the player selling the raw materials turned out to be involved in gold selling (my friend had absolutely no idea of this).

Anyway to cut a long story short my pal got perma banned and the guy selling the raw materials never, and is still running around.

There are so many bugged Skills, if you dont want to exploit you simply cant attack nothing.
Why should someone not use bugged skills, would that mean i shoultn use molten whipe, fozzil, Dawnbraker, talons with evil hunter, take flight, chain, molten araments, and so many other.
All players use atleast 1 Exploit´.

I assume most will be fixed with IC.

Obviously camo hunter in this form and shape is in the game for ages. If it is exploit it would be removed. It is overpowered but some other spells and abilities are as well. ZOS is making rules with doing or with not doing things in regard to spells and mechanics. Why we should think even is it exploit if ZOS obliviously purposely keeping it in the game for ages. If they consider something as game breaking they should react in couple of days and that is not just their right - its their obligation . That reaction time for consequence is having measurable and non measurable effects on game. VDSA leader-boards are shaped with people who use camo hunter. How ZOS can solve that ?

What actually makes me sad that any inbalances in PVP combat are not related to skill balance or pure numbers on abilities.

What makes combat inbalanced is the fact that it has more holes than a swiss cheese, whoever knows more exploits or bugs wins.
Abuse of free Camo Hunter, abuse of Dawnbreaker of Smiting, abuse of Overload bar, abuse of multiple mundus stones, abuse of dodge roll animation cancelling (untargetable balls of arrow spray ftw), lag-switch nightblade skill stackers, macro sniping and others. Its knowledge about exploits that separate "pro" from "noob".

Maybe this is just ZoS' way of evening out imbalances from the Champion system. Any newb can buff himself \ herself by using known exploits, thus taking away any advantage of Champion points.

Given that there's so many "exploits" vs "mechanics", I'm assuming this camo hunter exploit is different to the duration bug?

If it's that it procs on all melee attacks if you have it up, that's been in the game since 1.5 and known to all those players who have been playing that long. Some people choose to use it and some don't.

If however it's some strange bug where camo hunter stacks upon itself so it can do 20k damage, that's a new one to me.

This is not meant as an excuse to all the deliberate exploit usage, but simply to point out how much in the game is actually broken in some way...

Guys this expoit does not work on PC by the way. On PC only the duration is bugged, but that's like whatever. Not stackable.

Haven't seen this on console luckily. But shouldn't be too bad on pc, it only as a 4% chance. So it can't be happening all that often.

The damage is stackable on PC. I've tested it out and reported this, as have many others.

I've been running through Coldharbour with expert hunter on and was entirely oblivious to any of this - though I have now spotted that my bow crit has been sat at 70% with it slotted...

On a side note - is there any animation/cue for when the bonus damage procs?

There's a sound when it procs. If you run addons such as FTC or CLS you can see in the combat text when it procs.

Can you explain how it stacks? Obviously not how to recreate it, but what sort of numbers you are getting and with an example ability since I'm still not convinced it's people being unaware of it proccing with each melee attack or tick which has been around since forever.
