Best Meteor Morph for DK - Ice Comet or Shooting Star

I want to get best dps. IC gives more dmg than SS but with dk I have fire buffs (molten whip etc). With these buffs, will there be much dmg differential if I go with SS? Currently, I have Standard of Might which works well too but thought I'd explore Meteor as another ULT. Let me know your opinions. Thanks guys.

SS, gives back ulti which is always useful and on top of that if you're a DK there a big chance SS will do more damge than IC especially if you're a dunmer.

I vote for more Ultimate Regen. Your not doing all that many Heavy Attacks, more Light Attacks, and this can build your Ultimate up faster as you get 12 for each mob hit. Of course if your going against a Boss, then this is not of a benefit.

Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

A little late to the game, but I'll chime in with my support of Shooting Star as well. I use it on my own DK (and my Templar, for that matter), and it's amazing how much ultimate it can give you back in a target-rich environment. It's a large part of the reason why my DK has no trouble soloing dolmens - I start off by dropping a Shooting Star on the cultists, and instantly my ultimate is almost halfway charged. When soloing a dolmen I'll typically be able to use Shooting Star 3-4 times. Naturally it's also great in public dungeons, or group dungeons with large groups of trash mobs.

Well fire dk's have a entire skill line dedicated to fire dmg, so go ss and keep the meteor doing fire dmg to enjoy the benefits.

Shooting Star obviously, as it is fire damage and as we all know, Dragonknights highly benefit from that.

Thanks. I really appreciate the well thought out info. I hadn't considered the faster ult gain. I'm gonna go with shooting star.

But you don't gain Ultimate faster ;) it doesn't give a minor or major herosim buff.
But it restores some Ultimate for each enemy hit (up to 6 or so only though I think) But no matter if 1 enemy or more, Shooting star is just better for Dragonknight, as it deals more damage for Dragonknights and it deals extra damage against Vampires.

It maxes out at 12 per enemy hit at Rank 4. I think it starts 9, maybe it starts at 6 and goes up by two for each rank. Your right in that it does not increase the rate at which you gain ultimate ticks, but it gives a huge head start. Getting half your ultimate back on the attack means overall, your gaining ultimate faster than with any other ultimate.

Scales from 9 per to 12 per. It also benefits from the 10% fire damage buff from engulfing flames as well as other passives and the sun set (if you use that one).
