Display guild name?

Am i the only one that thinks guild names should be displayed below the player names like in every other mmorpg? Or am i just crazy

since you can be part of 5guilds i see why, but would be nice to see option to pick one name to display.

Player names? What's that? You mean gamer tags like xXDeez_Nutz420Xx.

It'll be nice if guild names where shown, specially in pvp on enemy factions. I'd like to know if I'm about to roll up on an unorganized PUG zerg or a guild group of doom.

On console it'll look like:

xXDeez_Nutz420Xx
Veteran
BaLLeRz YOLOSWAG Guild

Agreed. Think it should be a drop down and you should be able to choose.

We already have titles there.

I mean, we could use our guild name as our title, but then you'd get people making guilds called "Tamriel Hero" etc. just so they can make people think that they're important.

No not in place of titles it would work as follows
(Playername)
(Guildname)
(Title)
And you could set what ever guild you want to show as your active guild from the guild menu

Much the same way you can choose which guild bank to use or store

There would still need to be a symbol next to their guild name to differentiate from their title (otherwise they could name their guild to make it look like a title and then simply NOT choose a title. That way it'd look like they had a title but no guild. A symbol next to the guild name would stop this.

I'm all for this idea. Not everyone likes to wear tabards, but it's nice to give those people a way represent to their guild.

Lol i was in a guild called tamriel heros. But pretty much entire guild quit

Or they could just put it in a different colour, like the colour of the guild's alliance affiliation, or just grey.

No need to have 5, but who honestly wants to rep all 5? I have my main guild (in my signature) and the others just serve functions (like selling stuff, buying stuff, finding a specific type of group, etc). I don't socialize in the other ones and I don't really go out of my way for anyone in the others.

In case you play on PC you should check out the addon "Social Indicator". It shows guild names below below the title (and a little Icon if friends / guild mates post in chat), but it doesn't work with all UI addons.
