Wont let me report in game like to lodge scam.

Have video footage, screenshots of trade and chat. of a scammer selling me a bite, been scammed in past but this guy was V2 gave him a chance but ensured i would have the evidence, if he was to scam.
Should i name him? I know its not aloud but i have video evidence so surely in that scenario it is allowed? As its not a rumour but fact? Wont for now, but i want my money back and this guy to be punished...

I'll repeat i have evidence showing the negotations, followed by my trade, followed by him not biting. Following that he ignored my replies, and i am going to guess logged out as i couldn't report him...

Any time you trade, you take a chance.

It sucks, yes, but I dont think anything can be done, sorry.

Only get bites from people you trust....

I know its a chance, but kinda sad that people do it and i couldnt even report him because eso wouldnt let.
And was a vamp bite, ps4.

Contact Customer Services to raise your ticket, they will then email you so you are able to send them all the evidence to review.

They will then make their judgement and choose if they should punish the individual, you will not be told if they do or not though as that would be against their terms and conditions.

I doubt if you will get your money back.

Never pay for a bite up front. If you wait around at the werewolf or vamp shrine long enough, someone will either bite you for free or agree to bite you upfront with you paying after.

I'm going to say it again: Never give anyone who you don't know money upfront.

You don't deserve your money back, and nobody cares if you got evidence. You chose to gamble and lost, so get over it. Why must everyone feel so entitled? You're doing the equivalent of trying to buy a legit Rolex in Chinatown; lower your expectations.

Maybe when I get bored one day I'll scam some impatient player and take a video of me giving away their gold for free.

Bites should just be sold in the crown store to remove the leverage scammers have over new players.

The value of a bite will plummet and zos can make a bit of revenue being a mediator and policeman too the dregs that do this.

do it please as zos have already stated its against their tos it would be awesome if you posted evidence of yourself doing just that and speed up the process of getting toxic people who do this out of the game.

This isn't something that they do because any trading you do outside of guild traders is 100% buyer beware.

That and you are technically not "buying" anything even in agreement because he can just say he is RP an actual vampire that would never turn a lowly human sheep into a majestic vampire for something as mundane as gold.

If you happen to be DC i'll bite you for free, as it should be.

Honestly though, why people would ever pay for a ww/vamp bite is beyond me in the first place.

They are so easy to get and many people give for free, its just impatience I guess.

A - unless the guy scammed you for 100k+ looks like a big waste of time by him

B - it takes 5 minutes to get bitten by a vamp/ww if you wait till your about the correct level and google it

C - you can play the game without being ww / vamp

ZOS may or may not do anything. We'll never know. If anything does happens it would be a minor inconvenience to the offender. Never pay. Or at the very least not upfront. There are also lists of known scammers floating about the web.

But you can search the guild recruitment section. There are many guilds that give out free bites. The one I'm in has a web site where you sign up for a bite and whenever anyone has a bite available we contact the person at the top of the list.

Weird. Yeah, in that case contact customer service via email to report him. I'm sure you're not going to get your gold back, but scamming like that is against the TOS so you should definitely make sure the guy gets reported.

Hey there @mikey27,

Please report the player to our customer support team and they'll be happy to assist you. Include as much information as you possibly can in your message to them, including:

The name of the user
The time of the transaction
The amount of gold and/or goods that were traded
The expected return
Proof of a transaction agreement. This can be a screenshot of your console PMs, a video, etc

Please do not name the individual on the forums as it is a violation of our community rules. Thank you for your patience and understanding!

For WW bites, if players realized that you can level that skill line up to 10 in an hour an half, and just make sure you have 1 skill point to put in the Bloodmoon or whatever skill so you can bite another player as soon as you were done, you would them be able to flood the market on the console for free WW bites real quick!!

I won't post how it is done on here because I don't want it nerfed. I did this the other night on PC and it was awesome. I just wanted the passive for the skill line. As soon as I was done, I offered a free bite to someone looking, even though it was a spawn night for them.
