Ancient Elf Motif

I'm wondering about the selling price for an Ancient Elf Motif. I have one but
1. I dont know what to sell it for
2. I have no efficient way to sell it (I'm not in a big trading guild)
3. I dont even have anybody to sell it

When I got it, I was like "alright, i'm about to make 60k". Now i'm trying to get rid of it from taking up an inventory space.

I'm sort of in the same boat with an imperial motif. Just can't figure out if I want to sell it, and even if I do, I'm no xbox so I don't think there are any good pricing sites and right now xbox prices for a lot of stuff are all over the place. If anyone can provide even just info on relative motif values, that would be nice.
It shouldn't be hard to join a trading guild though.

Go on here to the guild forums ask to join a trading guild, there should be no reason why 4/5 of your guilds aren't huge trading guilds, except unless you are in 5 guilds with friends, and in that case just drop one....they sell for around 12k on consoles I believe but might be mistake

Ancient Elfs sell in the low 20's to 30K on the PC. Imperials I have seen listed for 50K and more on the PC.

On the consoles, your prices are insane.

So, what you need to do is go shopping for the motif and see what they are being offered for. Keep this in mind though, just because it lists for a price does not mean it sells for that price. However after you check about 10 kiosks in major crafting hubs you will get an idea of what it should list for to sell. That is how I did it on the PC before I used a Merchant Addon that tracked this stuff.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

    Nestor,
our prices are indeed insane. Not just high, but all over the place. I've seen a single purple recipe range from 5k to 25k, and I've seen various purple motifs range from 15k to 60k, with that price range on a single type of motif. Problem for me, is I've checked guild traders for a couple days looking at motifs, and haven't seen an Imperial listed at all.
And now I'm scared to trade with other players, because someone on xbox yesterday was saying how there's a way now that some people are backing out of a trade at the last minute, and doing it in a specific way still gives them what the other player was offering.
It is wild west on console.

the lowest listing you see is the lowest price that item hasn't sold for yet--did you get lucky to find it, or is it too high for everyone?
Highest price you see listed means nothing; only actual sales matter. Listings for sale only give you information of the depth of the market.
