We Should Be Able to Repair Our Own Armor
At any blacksmith station or clothing table and woodworking for shields. Its ridiculous that you can pay any merchant to repair your armor and it doesn't even make sense unless they're blacksmiths or clothiers, etc. It would be a great way to level up the respective skill line in addition to crafting, deconstruction, refining...

I agree, it's absurd every vendor who can do any kind of repair knows how to repair every kind of gear in the world .. and all stood behind the counter of their shop without a workbench, foundry, anvil, etc. in sight.Edited by KerinKor on July 22, 2015 6:59AM1 -

✭✭✭✭✭Well, technically, you can repair them yourself with a repair kit. But as KerinKor pointed out, it's there as a gold sink. Gold sinks are a necessary part of MMOs.-- @xaraan --

This annoyed me as well when I first realized I could recraft my entire set of VR1 greens for a fraction of the cost of repairing them, but then I realized what the other guys have pointed out, it's an attempt to remove gold from the economy.0 -

Inflation is the reason. If we had nothing to spend our gold on, then every thing would raise in price so much that the ingame Vendors would start looking like Walmart. As you get up in levels, gold is very easy to acquire. I made 100K this week so far and I have not even tried to make any money, just play the game.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

@Nestor Its true that you do get more at gold higher levels. I'm currently trying to save up 42k for a decent horse and trying not to waste gold on useless stuff.0

Buy the 10K horse, there is no difference other than cosmetics. If you have any Crowns, then buy a mount in the Crown Store.

So the 10k horses have the same stats starting off in terms of speed and stamina?0

Yes they used to have their own stats but now you can upgrade mount speed, stam, and capacity at stables.Edited by Waralchemist on July 23, 2015 9:45AM0 -
