PvP Vendor Containers?

After browsing some of the sets that are exclusive to those consumable containers from the PvP vendors, I have been interested in how often they drop any part of a set. I was thinking about purchasing some of the medium armor and light armor ones as there are a couple sets from both that I'd love to have and I never see them at guild traders and when I do, they cost a lot of gold, which I don't have any issues with but if I have a decent chance on getting a part or two from containers, I'd rather do that.
So back to my question, is it worth it to buy them?

NateAssassin✭✭✭✭✭I figured I have 75k AP and nothing from the elite vendor or normal gear venders sell stuff I want, I can buy the PvP sets in vr14 for 200 gold a piece so spending 36k AP on vr12 versions seems dumb so I looked towards the vr14 containers.

Whether it's worth it to you depends on a few things. How much AP do you have/earn? How good is your rng luck? How badly do you want the set you seek? can you buy the set you want in other ways, and are you willing to if you don't get what you want from the goody bags?
i once blew 2.5m AP at once and didn't get a single archemage piece. Can't say it was worth it, but it also didn't stop me from buying more goody bags in the future.

✭I'm saving all my AP as I think that the existing PVP sets will be still in the game with higher levels and buyable with AP. The new sets are probly the only ones that need Tel Var Stones for. Who knows tho....NA Server - Kildair0 -

Most of the sets I want because I love collecting different items even if they are not good, the Archmage set I'd love to have even though Seducer crafted set is basically the same thing. My RNG luck is very odd, one day I got 4 perfect roe and for the next week I didn't get a single one, but I have never bought any of the containers so I have no idea how my luck would be.NateAssassin wrote: »

AP I can earn if I spend time playing PvP, I don't ever spend it though.
