Filling grand soulgem

Hi, quick question here.
What's the best way to fill a grand soulgem ?
I was thinking maybe mommoth or giant in cyrodil,
Or are there better/quicker/more efficient ways ?

If you get to caldwells silver everything fills them. You need to be lvl 45 to get to silver.

Anything V1 or higher will fill a grand. Doesn't have to be a large creature.

VR1 Mudcrabs or Wolves or Zombies.

Hint Use the Passive that gives a 5%/10% chance to fill the gem on an attack and you will fill all your gems up before you know it just playing the game.

Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

Yeah, it's not like Skyrim where certain creature types (like mammoths) have grand souls, and others have greater, or common, or lesser. Any enemy who is VR1+ can be used to fill a grand soul gem. If you have access to your cadwell's Silver or Gold zones, just kill some random stuff there. If not, go to Cyrodiil and kill any mobs there.

This is what I do. I do sometimes get annoyed by the message that pops up every now and then saying "you must have an empty soul gem to do that" or whatever it is, but still it's a great passive because then I never have to worry about specifically going out to fill those empty gems.

Wolves in Cyrodiil are the easiest, I find. They are easy to kill and are all over the place.

and as a bonus they sound like cute little puppies when you kill them.
If you chase two rabbits, you will lose them both.

Easiest way is to go to Cyrodiil and head to the siege training area and use the dummies to fill your gems

Some things you should leave out of the forums so that they don't get fixed...but yeah best way for sure.

Ha-ha :) good point. I'll enjoy it while it lasts in game (which could be practically forever). Seriously though, who'd have thought that the easiest source of grand lvl souls would be practice dummies lol. Beautiful irony.

I prefer to go to the end-most part of Craglorn and kill the daedra and twilights there. There's never any players competing when I do so and, being classic campaign, they're easy to knock down rapidly.

I simply run with a grind group for a couple of minutes. Tag the mobs with soul trap and let the grinders finish the job. I'd argue it's easier and faster than exploiting the training dummies in Cyro.

Oh and since every decent VR grind spot in the game is almost always oversaturated, you won't have trouble finding a grind group.
