PS4 - NA - MIC always showing talking, but not plugged in

I usually play the game with my mic so I hadn't noticed this bug until now. If I completely disconnect my MIC and start up ESO, I will be shown to be constantly talking and other players are saying they are hearing a buzzing noise.
However this is not possible, because my MIC is not plugged into my PS4 and my PS4 is also saying I don't have a mic.
Any Ideas?

OzJohnD✭✭✭✭Dunno, but with my ear plug mike attached via the controller I am always having to turn the mike on and off to remove the indicator that I am sending audio signal. I've not had anyone report any noise from their end though.
Have to repeat this process every zone change.Everyone knows the phenomenon of trying to hold your breath underwater - how at first it's alright and you can handle it, and then as it gets closer and closer to the time when you must breathe, how urgent the need becomes, the lust and the hunger to breathe. And then the panic sets in when you begin to think that you won't be able to breathe - and finally, when you take in air and the anxiety subsides...that's what it's like to be a vampire and need blood.

Pyro117✭✭Yes, I have noticed that when I switch characters and sometimes going into new zones the icon will appear that I am always talking although my mute button is on. As you say, if I turn off mute and then back on - the indicator goes away.
