The Blackwater Blade Challenge [PC]

We all know that there has been a lot of serious discussion lately about the future of Blackwater Blade, battle leveling and the champion system, but rarely do we take the time to reminisce about the past of Blackwater Blade. With the Imperial City update coming right around the corner this seems like the best possible time, maybe the last possible time depending on the reward bag changes, to put forth the following challenge:

The Blackwater Blade Challenge

The Challenge - Post a screen shot of the Lowest Level Master Weapon you have currently or receive between now and the launch of the Imperial City. Optionally you can add the name of the character that it was awarded to, the mega server it was on, and a maybe story about something memorable from that campaign or about that character.

The Reward - A chance to talk about the good times and, depending on your activity level in Blackwater Blade, a way to immortalize the achievements of a character you may no longer have or is now in the vet ranks.

If you don't want to participate in the challenge, but still want to talk about a fun BWB memory, post a cool video or whatever feel free to do so, because it's all for fun anyway.

I was the first EP emperor of NA Blackwater Blade nearly one year ago. (and the second overall). Reigned from August 12 - August 17, 2014.

I was also the first Emperor in the game to ever lose it via leveling out (did not get deposed or abdicate voluntarily, was a sad moment when it was time to be over and nothing could be done to stop that). At the time no one knew what would happen, so i got to be the guinea pig.

I also presided over the largest margin of victory for EP in BB history with 28.000 points at the end of campaign. I was a strong, fighting emperor.

My lowest level Master weapon was on my third BB toon The Catman Rises (a DC one) and is a level 18 Ice Staff

I remember that sorcerer, specifically I remember one night in particular. I had been pvping for short time, maybe less than 2 days. It was fairly late, for me anyway, and you were solo farming about 10 or so of us yellows at Black Boot farm (I think?) and I couldn't figure out why you were so strong. Lesson learned that night: Emps are strong. I spent the rest of your emperorship trying to kill you with Silver Bolts.

I have fun memories of BB shortly after I was booted out of Dawnbreaker cuz Zeni made it not exist anymore. ;-(

Anyway, yeah good times until the DC-EP faction switchers ruined the fun.

Yeah dude, it was probably faregyl lumber to BB farm though, i tried to leave the bottom two keeps yellow to encourage people to fight. I was very new to sorc, didnt even have hardened ward yet. I look back on those times like a kid in a candy store. one thing I can always say is I was honoring my good friend Morinth who left the game shortly after my reign, she inspired the build I would later emulate on Lyzara. Another thing was my second place person under me eventually did get emp too some months later, and I was very proud of them it had finally happened, because at the time the scores were so close it could have been either of us.

That was a somewhat weird time, but it had a silver lining for me. The campaign was so sparsely populated at that time I decided to try out night blade to do some ganking. Ended up going a different direction with it, but it became one of my favorite characters I ever played with on BWB and still is (I don't have the heart to level him out)

I think ill be coming into BwB now. It is active enough for pvp at all hours now? I pvp at oceanic times which is why I haven't played on it as much as I would like too

I usually go offline around 3:00am Eastern Time (US),it overlaps a little with the times oceanic players are on and there's usually some action to be had.

As promised in the note (before it was edited out of the OP) here is my submission:

Awarded to Larkin Alswain (AD) at lvl 42 in BWB sometime last year.

Got it around the end of Larkin's BWB career, during which he mostly operated siege equipment. Laid siege to and burn down a ton of forward camps with this character, mostly because camp placement was so poor in BWB during his early days. Camp's were removed before he leveled out, but still managed to find some success.

Not the most impressive submission, but it's a good example of what a challenge submission should look like.

I tried to get Mages Guild 10 on my sorc, and was left 5 points or so shy on rank 10 at level 30 or so. I did all the AD areas, cyro and coldharbour. It appeared I had to go to the Vet areas or something, I gave ZoS a mouth full.

Wow, that is a really early level to have meteor. I don't think I'd have the patience to collect the needed the books on a non-vet.
