You remind me of the guy from Zero Punctuation - nice presentation. Why not steal and sell the items to a Fence? I've found that to be the most reliable / lucrative way to make money and you don't have to leave town to do it. I have a level 3 character that's made a ton of cash that way.

I would do that, but honestly I feel like that's a little more grindy. This are things that you can do while you're simply questing to lv 50. Thanks for the comment btw :)

Step 1: buy grand soul gems
Step 2: fill grand soul gems
    Step 3: profit

I didn't realize soul gems sold, Daniel. I tried selling filled soul gems early on and they wouldn't sell even in a modest price range. How quickly do they fly off the shelf for you?

I sell them in groups of 5 for 1450 and groups of 25 for 6750. I put up so many that my volume cut out those people in my 4 trade guilds that were pushing them for 500 to 1000 gold each. Most nights I earn about 20K gold while I'm asleep. All you have to do is kill VR1 (or higher) CPU bad guys. One cave in Cyrodiil will net you about 50 to 80 of them in 30 minutes. There are other places and ways to make that go faster. Enjoy!

Please note: grand soul gems only.

All of the rest are pretty useless except as fuel for your weapons.

The math on it works out like this.

    Cost: 121 x 5 = 605
    1450 - 605 = 845

There is about another 100 or so in posting fees and house cuts but generally I'll make about 750g per stack of 5 as pure profit.

what guild store do you sell them in? I see them going for much lower

Best most reliable way to make gold is to go in a dungeon, kill stuff, loot it, and sell it. Skeevers work the best.
    Reften
    Bosmer (Wood Elf)
Moonlight Crew (RIP), Misfitz (RIP), Victorem Guild

VR16 NB, Stam build, Max all crafts.

Azuras & Trueflame. Mostly PvP, No alts.

Semi-retired till the lag is fixed.

Love the Packers, Bourbon, and ESO...one of those will eventually kill me.

That's pretty much what I say in the video

I'm in 4 different ones with odd names that I can't really recall off hand. One of them is the Three Banner Trade Union, another one it like DestroCC or something. The other two, no idea off hand. I usually rotate 1 out a week. I used to sell in the Walmart guild but it got stagnant.

As for lower prices, on XBox, I've never seen them. If you're on PC or PS4 that could be a different story.

Another way to make gold is to do low level crafting writs as a higher level character. The cash reward scales up no matter what the writ level is. My VR8 Templar makes 4000 plus gold a day just doing the 6 crafting writs (ESO Plus). The equipment mats are cheap considering you can do multiple writs per stack unlike max level writs. If you have the stacks on hand or in the bank, this takes 10 minutes maybe.

However the coin rolls in if you can Vendor items as opposed to Deconning to level crafting. My two later characters were rich, gaining 25K to 30K after Zone 1, and it only went up from there.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

I will have to try that again. I was trying to sell 10 common soul gems, filled, for 1,500 and they just sat there. I just assumed people didn't by them.

Yup. Common soul gems are only good as gasoline for your enchantments. They really aren't worth much of anything except to the small subset of people who happen to be in the leveling area to use them. Conversely every person in ESO who wants to PVP needs grand soul gems or risk playing horse riding simulator 2015.

Also, it never hurts to be the guy in Cyrodil handing out resurrections like hotcakes. You'll make friends very quickly.

Lastly my pricing structure is only profitable if you can keep 100+ out there at all times. I undercut the market so badly that no one bothers to keep up.

Loot everything, sell everything, don't repair ... didn't need to buff your YouTube video views to tell us that

actually not the best way to make gold, its a good way whilst leveling, but not the best way.
Everyone knows the phenomenon of trying to hold your breath underwater - how at first it's alright and you can handle it, and then as it gets closer and closer to the time when you must breathe, how urgent the need becomes, the lust and the hunger to breathe. And then the panic sets in when you begin to think that you won't be able to breathe - and finally, when you take in air and the anxiety subsides...that's what it's like to be a vampire and need blood.

Made the video for YouTube, not for the forums, but posted here because I thought that some people might find it helpful and maybe get introduced into some of my other content.

And I do say that there are better ways to make gold after level 50 towards the end, but I haven't gotten to that level to try to yet.
