Why can't we have exotic mounts that we purchase with gold? It would provide a nice gold sink. I would love to buy a 500k mount.

    Agreed.

Ive been playing a month and gold just keeps piling up. Nothing really to spend gold on once you max out bank slots

Lol you could always go to guild traders and waste 75k on a vr 8 purple weapon. It's insane the prices these people come up with lol.

But seriously, I agree. What ever happened to training skills like in skyrim? That be a good gold sink, want lvl 50 provisioning well pay Betty crocker x amount of gold to raise it x amount of xp or 1 lvl and x amount of gold raises the higher lvl the skill is.

Everything's all about making money in the crown store now, but I am hoping they're at least considering adding new mounts available for purchase with gold inside their future DLC zones that we pay cash for. WTB bear mount at stable in Orsinium!

That's one of my main beefs with the game to be honest. Need more mounts to be purchasable with gold. I do think they did a phenomenal job with the way their crown store and subscription model is implemented. :)

Players act like skill trainers in this game. You just need to buy intricate items off of guild traders and deconstruct them. You'll max out any craft very quickly.

Since mounts no longer offer any sort of in-game mechanical advantage and are nothing more than a cosmetic item, I highly doubt we will ever see any new ones outside the crown store. Something has to go into the cash shop without it becoming P2W, and cosmetics are the best thing to go there.

Well they might be tending in that direction. From the Launch Details:

    • New collectibles only available in Imperial City (pets, polymorphs, and a costume)

No mounts, but it would be nice to be able to buy or work toward some goodies like that.

No thank you. You want an exotic mount? Cough up the Crowns. This game needs to make money. The cries of the masses already removed the subscription... which would have made ALL mounts purchasable in-game with gold. Hopefully those cries won't lead to more changes that further strip revenue from ZOS which will just lead to P2W practices down the road.

This is the bed we've made...

What ESO really needs is an Auction Horse.
    That's right... Horse.

I wish they would make the game subscription based, so they would stop focusing on crown store crap

A LOT of people would like it to be subscription, but I agree thats an issue in itself

The game WAS subscription based. Didn't work our for their bottom line, so now its BtP. Which means easier getting into the game for new players, but also crown store and all the nifty stuff being cash-shopped.
And I'm okay with that... I know well enough they have to pay their employees, and server upkeep, and if the game doesn't being in some profit, the suits will pull the plug. That's the way of the capitalist world after all. So, put your money where your mough is, and buy crowns, be it through subscription, or extra.

I just wish there was more stuff to buy for my personal interests... so far, there hasn't been too much, I'd gladly shell out my hoarded crowns for costumes relevant to my interests (evening gown, nobles dress/suit, grooms suit, etc.), or for recustomization services (namechange, character re-edit to fix small details, etc.). Might go for some exotic mounts too, if they add some that'd match my characters... (I'd love to have a skeletal horse for my vampire alt for example...)

I am subscribed to eso plus, the company needs to bring in revenue, I understand that. There still needs to be things for me to blow my gold on.

I find no joy in buying a mount for cash, its stupid, all im asking for is some mounts that are only purchasable with gold. And no, the stupid horses do not count.
