On the PC, when I get a login error message, I do the following steps, but it also follows a specific pattern when the game acts up. Usually be being kicked from the game, but sometimes just logging in:
1. Try to log in, takes too long so I cancel
2. Try to log in again, I get the error message so exit out again
3. Load up the client again and then it lets me log in.
So, not sure if any of this would apply to the console. But, have you tried power cycling the console (by this I mean unplugging the unit in order to clear the cache, there is a way to do this without unplugging but I don't know that) and then relaunching the client.
You can also try to verify if your account is OK by trying to log in to the support page here. If that is OK, and the above does not work, then request Customer Service to call you. Don't do the email method.
Hey there @grtdisneyfan,
Error 301 is a general connectivity error, and indicates that there is an issue somewhere between your connection and our servers. That doesn't necessarily mean that the issue is on your end, rather the error is a simple explanation for a wide variety of potential issues and solutions.
Some of the solutions can be found in this article, and we recommend starting there for error 301. If you continue to experience the issue, we recommend contacting our Customer Support team as they will be able to provide more in-depth networking troubleshooting.
Thanks for your patience!
