Self heal for stamina sorcerer

I've just created a stamina sorcerer with 2 handed and I'm having tons of fun with it! The only thing I'm struggling by with is survivability, especially self heals. Since I'm stamina based I refuse to go resto staff and healing ward. Surge is really helpful but I haven't unlocked it yet. Are there other means for me to recuperate health? I'm thinking about vampirism but I'm not too keen on the weakness to fire. Are there other skills that grant health return? Help plsss

Momentum morphed into rally.

Dark exchange also has a morph that restores health and stamina.

Critical surge will heal you when you get crit too.

Stamina build problems ...

It's meant to be like that, otherwise stamina builds would be too overpowered.

Unfortunately your help won't be coming until next update, when vampirism weakness gets reduced, Vigor gets moves down to alliance rank 5, and Sorcs get some stamina morphs.

vigor is alliance war skill and momentum is in your 2hand tree..........

I don't see why they wouldn't stack? At least the heal portion of it.

PTS = Public Test Server. You can enable that in your launcher (it will download a test version of the game) and then when the update hits, you can go in there and test. You can even make a max level template and see what your envisioned character would be like at the end.

I wish, I'm on XboxOne... Both momentum and surge grant major brutality although the healing effect is different. Has anyone tested this? Can anyone say for sure whether they stack or not?

Yeah, the Major Brutality wouldn't stack, for sure. But the healing would be interesting to test.

I may make my second sorc use 2H, but it'll probably be a while till she's at a level where she could try this out.

I run a medium-armor stamina sorc with two-handed as my eighth alt... and it worls fine. Sure, no burst heal... but between the shield from "brawler" and "rally" I hardly ever get low on HP in most fights... certainly no more then one health potion can fix...

I realise im necroin a thread but it has to happen because everyone forgot to mention one amazing heal the sorcerer has that i use all the time as my 2 handed sorcerer. It needs to be said because i just did a search for this sort of stuff and this post came up first.

unstable imp morphed into Clanfear heals you when it dies or despawns. seemingly about 30-40% of your max hp. With no magic i can have one up with full mana and punch out another 2. despawning is instant. It is also a minion to take aggro, very useful for powerful bosses.

this is the heal you were looking for.

You can have great sustain with magicka Sorcerer Vigor, Crit Surge, Rally you cant even drop below 50% with these 3 abilities when playing in dungeons or doing whatever...

I believe his self healing comes from stacking crit, using crit surge and then crit rush/steel tornado.

Surge is about the best heal sorcerers have at all in pvp, even on a magicka build, as long as you've got a good crit chance. I've got a resto staff on my magicka sorcerer and casting power surge (maybe also with a healing ward up), and killing stuff is far better than using grand healing or blessing of protection to directly heal myself.

Oh my, this post is so old. Between Rally, Crit Surge, Vigor and (nobody mentioned this) Bats, I'm self-healing while fighting.

In my experience Rally and Vigor are the two best, and most reliable heals in the game.
