Another option to punctuning sweep ? templar

Hi, i have a templar in VR 2, i'm doing and leveling with silver quest, its like getting boring, the puntucting sweep skills made all too easy, i just need to stand in the correct place and push that button all the time, i can solo bosses, elites, etc. It's getting not so much fun, any other skills or build to lvl, made dps ? magicka oriented as i'm a healer. I try it with destro staff skills, but i dont see any really good skill,

problem with a skill? just dont use it.

reroll you character basis use a diferent type of weapon.

You shouldn't eliminate that skill but also not just spam it over and over. Use a hybrid caster/melee build that burns your targets using multiple skills.

Sun Fire, Blazing Spear, Jesus Beam, Crushing Shock, Impulse, Destructive Reach, etc. Lots of stuff to kill mobs with.

Sorry, nothing you have access to as a Templar is as effective in PvE as spamming Puncturing Sweep. I got bored of it too and tried everything, but nothing works. Templar just doesn't have any good skills, and Destro skills alone won't beat an elite boss or any public dungeons.

Killing groups of 3 mobs is easy with any build, but public dungeons with groups of 8 monsters and elite bosses die best with Puncturing Sweep spam.

For destro staff to be any good you need to be a Sorc (Hardened Ward + Impulse) or DK (Molten Weapons + inferno staff heavy attack).

I love Puncturing Sweep. It allows me solo world bosses and delves a few levels higher than my level on my Templar Healer. It's really the only "damage" skill I have on my bars, which allows me to dedicate the rest of those slots to leveling other abilities. I admit that it does get a bit redundant just spamming Sweep. But if I was a DPS, there's a few other skills I'd use. Destro staff has Impulse and Destructive Reach. And then there's Radiant Opression for a Templar skill. And...yeah, that's why I don't have a magicka Templar DPS. I feel I have more DPS options on my stamina Templar.
