Heavy Armor doesn't look HEAVY

If only they made the armor actually have a thickness to it rather than making it look like they painted it on your skin. If it were something like what the Nord in the trailers and covers of the game, then that would look sick. Instead, they made the armor look like it was your skin.

First off finally a thread about armor that isn't about making it look sexist on female characters. Second agreed kinda creeps me out how not just HA but armor in general looks like it's body paint like the shoulder pieces and chest area of the armor just molds and follows around you body. Also the seem at the neck that's just weird.

I think the Argonian armor is worse for this, I don't think the Breton armor isn't so bad.

Everyone knows the phenomenon of trying to hold your breath underwater - how at first it's alright and you can handle it, and then as it gets closer and closer to the time when you must breathe, how urgent the need becomes, the lust and the hunger to breathe. And then the panic sets in when you begin to think that you won't be able to breathe - and finally, when you take in air and the anxiety subsides...that's what it's like to be a vampire and need blood.

This is because, instead of actually having armor models as an extension of the character model, most armor in this game is simply a texture overlay. Other than some bits on shoulder, helm, hand, and foot armor, all you're really doing is coloring your character's body to look like armor.
