Hey ZOS

Would have thought it would be cool to have an online profile that's linked to the game and can show you all the achievements you have gotten so far, and compare with friends. Thought it would also help me easily check off what I can readily do in each location there and then, instead of having to keep browsing through it like in game. Anyone else think this is a good idea?

I'm glad that there is no online profile where people can check your achievements and compare them.
It's already annoying to read "Looking for members for <dungeon> , post achievement or f!ck off noooob"

If you want to have a look on your own achievements, look under achievements. There is listed what you have done
and where you can do what. Be it dungeons, skyshards or whatever.

I know I can look at it in-game, I thought it would be easier than having to say write down say dungeon achievements, list them all and cross them off as I've done them.

I'm not one of those fanatic achievement hoarders like some, but I do get a sense of satisfaction knowing that I've invested my time in the game well, rather than those people who just grind to level up in MMOs and then show off that way. I dunno, maybe it's just me!

It's better to add this sort of thing early, than try and add it later.

DCUO only recently (in the last year or so) made census data available. They handled the release badly (imo)...people got wound up (myself included).

Eventually we all moved on...the data is available, but honestly, I haven't heard of it being used for player abuse all that much now. It was a new toy to start with, now it's a useful tool.

Granted, they did launch it with way too much information (play time, last logged on etc). But once the dust settled, we largely got used to it.
