These RACIAL PASSIVES dont make no damn sense!

When I seen a Orc...I thought to me self...this Orc is good tank. He is big, strong, thick tank. But then I seen his racial passives....he has increased running speed like he's a Olympic sprinter in his heavy armor. This orc runs faster than Elf in cloth. He also has increased damage on charge....HOW MANY TANKS U KNOW RUNNING AROUND SMACKING THINGS WHILE TANKING?!?!?! HELL NO! YOU STAND THERE AND TAKE IT LIKE A MAN FOR THE TEAM!!!
Then I play this Lizard....with increased swim speed. BUT I CANT FIND NO WATER WHERE THIS IS USEFUL! I use this only to swim around continents but I never see no people. How is 6% heal to self useful? MAYBE AS NIGHTBLADE! But you aint no healer...for sure.
This Nord racial is so bad....aint no one doing no cold damage. NOT EVEN DUNGEONS DO COLD DAMAGE. NOT EVEN COLD DAMAGE IN COLD HARBOR!!!! Why this Nord have so much health and no increased damage with bonus to 2 handed weapons? THIS DONT MAKE NO DAMN SENSE!

It's almost like they're not meant to be game breaking or anything...
Unless you're REALLY trying to min/max, in which case I'd think it'd be a good thing that you don't have to put too much thought into it; there will be a clear win for whatever your class/role is.0 -

But it does make a differance. Take a orc and try to be a caster. None of its passives work well with that playstyle. Or take a high elf and make a 2 hander/bow play style. Yes you can complete the content because it's just that easy but if you choose a race specific to a play style it's so much better, Dunmer DK fire mage for instance.Briza Do'urdenx V16 Dunmer DK

The description in character creation is too vague imo. They should show numbers. Yes people can go dig up what they need to find out before creating one but who knows what the new meta is going to be? Every major game change will change the meta. Pre 1.6 was magicka or gtfo. They will be in PTS later this month you may see them then cause as of right now there is no other news about racial passives except that they are being changed in update 7. Also nords passive aren't that bad sure frost res may be little lack luster but that's cause not many enemies or players use frost attacks. The boost to health though that comes with it is pretty useful.0 -

You remember this thread, you know, the one you made in which people explain how an ESO Orc =/= WoW Orc? Perhaps you should re-read it and read some lore regarding Orcs, I know several links were provided.
The Argonian swim speed passive is indeed horrible given the lack of water content, but the 6% self heal is not horrible, every class has some sort of self heal ability or can use a restoration staff.
Frost damage is indeed currently lacking, but lore wise the Nords have always had resistance to frost (and in some cases shock). That being said, there are enemies who do use frost damage, but there isn't a great deal (for now). How does a Nord having increased health make no sense? Likewise, the Nords gain increased experience from two handed weapons.
