Okay, yeah, with Orsinium supposedly coming out next, will I have to purchase Imperial City before I can get Orsinium? I don't want to play IC content and don't want to be forced to pay for it just so I can get the next DLC? On sub. games you have to buy the expansions in order. I just want to know if it is the same with games like this with the DLC. Do I have to buy them all, or can I pic and choose which ones I get? Thanks for the answers so far.
Seriously, it's ONE part of the content, you'll still be able get these damn stones in safer unlootable way; the containers.
It's a mystery to me that so many already started threads saying how bad idea this is, how horrible of ZOS to even remotely consider such an idea. In all honesty, this is something I beleive will improve the overall experience of pvp, I know I'm looking forward to trying it at least.
There will still be two PVE instances which will not have any PVP within them.

This really drove the nail in for me. I enjoy crafting and have "invested" the time to research everything so I can make anything. Being forced into PVP (a playstyle I hate especially due to the psychology of player it attracts) and to PAY for the privilege of being forced into that hated playstyle?
Sorry guys, but I'm out. Not that my opinion means didly.
Im so excited about IC, it creates so damn cool atmosphere that u can loot other pvp players, dont understand all this "mimi" threads lol
And i like pve a lot, but just consider the atmosphere wolaking iwth 5 friend through the sewers, not sure u will survive

Have fun looting players in a ghost town.
Sorry but forcing PVE players and crafters to go into PVP, a style and mindset of play they neither enjoy nor care to become proficient at, just so PVP players can teabag and grief "EZ killz?" Yeah, that sounds like fun for anyone. The PVE players getting griefed and forced to play something they hate (and PAY for it!) and the PVP players that get to show their skills by shooting fish in a barrel that don't fight back. Thrilling.
Man I have never seen a game company hit so far off the mark as they have on this one.
I will be among the MANY PVE players that will NOT BE THERE for you to loot.
Like I said, have fun looting a ghost town. That is what this game will be if these kinds of decisions keep getting made without consideration for the bulk community consensus.
I am 100% certain that you will not have to buy Imperial City in order to buy future DLC.

I agree, I don't understand them focusing on content for the smallest part of their player base, I will be in the IC because I pvp, but I am concerned for the overall health of the game and this will not be healthy for a large portion of the player base that pays the bills for ZOS.
Lets look at other ways, you can lose your stones, game crashing your toon is still in the world, internet disco, along with the griefers that will just farm stones and you still get AP, this is going to be bad and a ghost town, I like the fact we are getting some pvp content but, I hate the fact it is going to be a turn off to so many players.
I guess we will have experience loss and corpse runs next keep adding mechanics like this I will feel like the old EQ days, dust of a coffin and a Necromancer.

The 4 man dungeons in the rest of the world Will scale up to V16 but what comes with that we have no idea right now. My guess is that orsinium will be the PvE equivalent for V16 great, but that's just a guess.

The idea of losing all your stuff is terrible. Noone needs to try that to know this.

Many players aren't as black and white as that, myself and almost everyone I play with enjoy PVE and PVP and will enjoy the IC content as a result.
It ain't shooting fish in a barrel either when those fish are fighting back. Even a PVEer wouldn't be stupid enough to just go in there solo and not fight back, and if they were, their death is from their own lack of forethought and preparation, so please stop demonising PVP players for playing PVP.
