Forums need more active mods.

Emotional Rant/Opinion: Honestly, do mods even look at the crowns forum? It seems like they just throw topics in there like it is a giant garbage dump but it really should be one of the main places they check since that's where the money comes from..
I don't know, it just seems like there hasn't been a mod there in ages, we are all just talking to ourselves about how zenimax can make money. Figured I would come over to the general chat and generally complain about it.
Don't they want to make money?

Edited: Actual Discussion: Forums in GENERAL need more mods responding to people but certain ones in particular should have priority, namely ones about game fixes like bugs and things that bring the company income. Am i crazy for suggesting that?

Hey its General Discussion. If i cannot generally discuss it here where can i discuss it? Topics like this don't belong over there. Why should they close it? I'm expressing how i feel about the matter.

I, for one, disagree. I like the the crown store subforum and even though vast majority of posts there is thoroughly insightless, they are still in a sense inspiring and thought provoking.

Perhaps they have made enough money already and now want to make a game for a change.

If this is still capitalism as i know it, companies can never make 'enough money'. The term doesn't exist hahaha.

I don't know. It's Just frustrating I suppose, Alot of us have ESO plus but nothing to spend it on and then when the forum dedicated to those of us still paying goes silent it feels like they just dont care.

I'm just here getting my feelings out. I don't really mind if people agree or disagree. Its strictly my opinion.

Edit: i will change my topic header to better reflect my point.

Not for censorship, for responses to our concerns. There are so many people asking questions or offering insights as to how to make this gaming experience better and there is a lack of available mods to actively engage these people. I don't want more censorship i want more open communication

The moderators are not developers, or game support staff, or in any way qualified to provide what you're asking for. ESO mods are employed to monitor the forums and enforce the CoC. That's all. More moderation here would result in more censorship.

The Community Ambassador programme was created for some of the more active and knowledge members of the community to answer questions, provide insight, and facilitate discussion. Maybe check out the sticky thread about it, and reach out to one or more of them to participate in the crowns topics. But heavier moderation is not the solution you want it to be.

Fair enough. Like i said I'm just frustrated and ranting about feeling un-heard and un-acknowleged. I can be honest enough to admit to it. I'm prone to emotional outbursts lol

Here's a tip. Check your email. I never do and apparently I was being warned - moderated and had no idea.

One day poof I was just muted. It came out of no where because I wasn't checking my email. With a thread like this you should check yours to see if you aren't being 'warned'.

I think as far as the moderation goes, it does appear that the mods will ignore certain topics or come down hard on certain posters while allowing others to insult and flame.

I think this appearance is simply many people doing the same job will make different calls. There are multiple mods all with their own unique view points.
That's prob all it is.
