Need tips for motif farming

i'm a breton from daggerfall and currently in vr10 zone the rift
what zones should i be looking for rare motifs and does anyone know somewhere i can look ?
my success in farming for these has been very limited i have dwemer mace,sword,shoulders, ancient elf, learned so far
i'm not interested in buying these nice most of them go for way more then i can afford so i'm just hunting them myself.

VoidBlue✭✭✭✭so far ive only found dwemer motifs in dwemers delves.
but from what i seen there is a chance for them to spawn inside houses in towns. saw a video of this guy just went to daggerfall to looted everything in every building and got quite a few motifs plus a purple motif.0 -

✭✭Primal and Barbaric drop in your Silver zones, AE and Daedric in Gold. Dwemer can be found in any Dwemer ruin, in the urns, jugs, pots and stuff. AD zones don't have any Dwemer ruins, btw. Imperial can be found anywhere but is pretty rare.
Find yourself a good building (castles, inns and such work well) and go thru all the furniture. Watch for guards as you will be stealing and have invis pots handy for when you get caught!Lag is ruinin' my 'mershun!

I found the Imperial motif from a backpack outside in Deshaan when I was lvl 180

jkemmery✭✭✭✭In my experience, they are not very common. I routinely make it a habit to check every container possible in every delve and so far I have found exactly one. My highest character is V14 and I have been playing since beta.
Maybe I'm just unlucky, I don't know, but I would guess the drop rate is somewhere in the neighborhood of one in a thousand or higher.0 -

i found the ancient elf one in a room with four things i can open and just kept relogging in EH zone0
