Sounds like you're right on target. I've got 6 pages and 3 frames. But others are doing better, and some worse. That's RNG for youfrogprincess_q4 wrote: »Is it intended that the drop rate of Dwemer Frames is so low? To my mind it needs to be about 10 times the rate it currently is. I have farmed 7 chapters and THREE frames. I have run a variety of Dwemer dungeons and delves and killed hundreds of automatons.
I generally run dungeons that are close to the level of the character that is farming and I am getting plenty of other drops from the dwemer machines.
Lucky you, I've farmed Rkundzleft and another Dwemer ruin 3x in Crag and pulled no scraps and 1 page - 4 days ago. Haven't found a page since.xMovingTarget wrote: »On a serious note, i agree to an extend the droprate of scraps is too low. I farmed Rkundzleft(? these names dude) in Craglorn like one hour straight, ALONE.. And i got like 3 scraps. i need 100 scraps to get me where i wanna be.
There is no 'AI" and there is not 'RNG'. Computers only process. They can't truly be random. That is why there are streaks of glut and famine. Poor programing makes for extreme peaks and valleys.

Random number generation is extremely important for cryptography. In addition to entropy sources already noted, modern CPUs actually include specialized circuits to improve the generation of random numbers, using things like thermal noise to generate "real" random sequences instead of psudo-random ones.
