Greetings!

Does anyone have some clues or theories on what exactly are Tel Var stones?

And maybe, if it's not planed to be posted in some of the future articles, could we get some kind of info or at least a tease about the lore of Tel Var stones? o:)

Its more then likely something they decided to make up. Cause they just needed a new currency.

You think they do anything based strictly on lore? Tell me, what was the lore behind the Ice Princess Pony?

In Ehlnofex tel means tower, var means life/to live (?)
In Ayelidoon var means mouth. Varla means star, in case that's what they meant to refer to.

Don't think we know anything else at this point.

Pretty sure they're old bottlecaps, dug up from the Ruins of Megaton.

Well they've obviously made it up since there has never been such thing as Tel Var stone mentioned, that's why I'm interested in what kind of lore they decided to accompany the stones.

I can't tell you anything about that particular horse. But that's why we have Loremaster.

Yup, except associations with Ayleid stones and rough translations there is nothing else except guessing and theories.
Tel Var stones could have some interesting backstory to them. And not just backstory but the reasons why they are used as a currency in IC, maybe it'll be explained during the quest line.

Being made up isn't a flaw, all of TES lore is made up. If devs didn't conjure crazy new stories out of thin air, we'd be playing a sequel to a fighting game.

Since this is an imaginary world made up by developers over years with new things being added all the time it stands to reason they could make up something new for ESO. has there ever been a work codifying all lore?...I thought not.

I was thinking they had something to do with the Varla Stones the Ayleids took into battle.
What ESO really needs is an Auction Horse.
    That's right... Horse.
