Crafting... How many skills per character?

I'm relatively new to Tamriel Unlimited (Xbox One, NA Server, Ebonheart Pact). I have a few noobish questions in regard to crafting.

#1. Ideally how many different crafts should you actively level on each character?
#2. Should you place skill points in more than one craft?
#3. Should you level all, or most, of your craft skills and only place skill points in one or two of them?
#4. The daily provisioning quests offered on the writs in Davon's Watch are a pain in the butt. Is there a vendor in town that sells recipes, or do you exclusively have to find them while questing or buy them from guild mates?

By the time your end game you'll easy have 250 skills points.

You can max your 3 class tree's, 2 weapon tree, mage guild, fighters guild, race passives, soul passives etc... and have enough to max about 3 or so crafting.

Always deconstruct weapons/armour you don't need and make sure to level everything.

Only way to get recipes is so find them or buy in guild stores

    PS4 EU DC

    Current CP : 756+

I have every character level 50, both a magicka and stamina version.

RIP my effort to get 5x v16 characters...

    LeePalmer95,

Thank you for your help! I wasn't sure how many skill points would be available to my characters at end game, hence the questions, and you answered them perfectly. So far I’ve been deconstructing everything as I go, and saving the items necessary for each craft. I’ve found that I have plenty of money left over so far, and I've been using it to buy extra space in the bank and pack space for my characters. Looks like it’s time to start crafting! :D

Remember to check if you can research them first before you begin deconstructing. Traits are an awesome add on to the equipments you can craft. If you are leveling crafting that means you might want to level it to craft your own gear in the future. If so, research anything you can, I personally have placed one point into the skill that allows me to research two items at a time. Regardless of the level of the equipment you can research them, better to start early. I started a little late for not knowing I could research them as well. The ones that you can't research go and deconstruct them :)

Started researching today... takes some time, but definitely worth it. I just started working on my second character this afternoon. My first character was a Nord Dragonknight, and this guy's a Dunmer Sorcerer. I saved up all the cooking recipes so I could have the sorcerer memorize them. That way my Dragonknight is certified in all of the smithing skills and my Sorcerer is certified in the others. Seems like the way to go.
