Player Housing, how it will affect marriaged couples and adopting or having kids and adopting pets

Rosethewolf
My boyfriend and I are soon going to get married in ESO, we both like to roleplay and hopefully if and when player housing is avaiable (and not avaiable in a pricey DLC), it will include more choices for married couples such as, adopting a child ( which none seem to be found in the game..which is werid) and pets. I know thay when you get married, you wear the ring and it gets you more expereince as you play...but thats it? I kinda thought since the game has an emotions option it could add some new ones only for married couples like "hug" and "kiss". I mean sure some people get married just to get that expereince bonus ring..but what about us roleplayers who like eso. It would be cool to build a house in eso, bring in stray cats and dogs into the house, adopt a child or have one and interact with players like hugging and kissing and holding hands. It would be cool to go slay some enemies and then just go hold hands. In player housing it would be nice to store your favorite items and if your friend or married companion wants to borrow that item, you have an accept or decline option ( and they cant sell it). Also a lock door option would be nice as well. In case someone breaks in and steals your stuff you can set traps in the house only that will affect other players? just saying for a game with a marriage option and having to buy the imperial edtion just for a ring that gives expereince points isnt what i was expecting. And for those who get married just for the expereince ring..well they dont have to do this..its just an option that is avaiable. What do you guys think?

I think it would be pretty cool. Congrats to the happy couple! It really is weird that there are no children.

I'm sorry to say you can likely go ahead and not expect to see a system like any of what you described.

You have a lot of time to discuss it, what with housing being implemented around 2025 and all...

Player housing is a year or more away, if ever. Hug, kiss, and kids? Not going to happen. Ever.

You have a long long long time to wait on player housing. I would be shocked if they put it in before the game is 3-4 years old.

I never understood the concept of marriage and children in games.

    Why?

Whenever I do it, I always end feeling like a deadbeat since I have so many responsibilities that I never actually get to spend any time with them (say 1 day out of every month?). It seems like all I ever do is either pay allowances, give gifts or pick up cash from my wife.

Frankly, I make a lousy parent and/or spouse.

    Now I feel guilty.

Lol, kids in games are so much easier than real life. My Fable and Skyrim kids I'd just spend 95% of my time not at home and bring them back trinkets and they were so happy.

If it does ever happen, can guarantee it will be a pricey DLC.

Would see him roughly once a year around my birthday when he would give me cash then vanish again.
