Incentive to rerun PVE 4 man dungeons

Anyone know if they have anything in the works to add incentives to run 4 man dungeons and vet dungeons outside of the daily pledge and vet pledge? It would be nice if each dungeon had its own repeatable quest that would reward a bump in XP at the end. Outside of the first time you run a dungeon and get the quest and skill point, there's not much reason to rerun it again unless you just like running dungeons or are helping a friend.

It would really be nice to have running dungeons back to back to back as an alternative to leveling by PVP, questing or grinding. But as it is right now, dungeon runs after the first one give very little XP wise.

Probably not. Once one has the monster sets and undaunted leveled there isn't much purpose. At that the monster sets, most of them, are far from BiS and about to be pushed further back. The one from CoA is about all that is worth it. They may raise the level they scale to with the increased level cap to give people a reason to grind for the gear. That is about it.

I still run them daily (when vDSA and Trials aren't going) because I enjoy them and hate grinding. The xp at turn in is a good way to level odd skills also. Most people will run them many times to collect all the helms and shoulders. I wish those things weren't bound to make some money.

That said, they need to add more vet dungeons and a leader board for them. With scoring based on speed and penalty for not killing mobs or dying.

I went through a few Group Dungeons the other night and got tons of experience and almost two champ points. That is incentive enough for me as it is an alternative to grinding surface mobs.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

PakKat "Everything was going well, until I died"
Gary Gravestink "I am glad you died, I needed the help"

I assume you mean you got XP apart from running a pledge or a dungeon quest? Meaning you ran a dungeon without any of those and still got good XP? Was it normal or vet?

I normally get good XP from running dungeons as well. You will always get a LITTLE bit of XP in veteran dungeons now, but definitely get better XP if you ensure the dungeon is scaled to (or slightly above) your level. I'm not sure how the XP numerically compares to other means such as grinding though, but I always felt like it gave good XP (often get champ points in them)

There are plenty of reasons to re-run the 4-man dungeons. There are bind-on-pickup sets that only drop in those dungeons, such as Ebon Armory, Hircine's Veneer, and Worm Cult.
