When will we see Orsinium and the other PVE only zones?

I am all for people getting IC. I am not into the whole killing other players for their loot. I like PVP but not the way its being done in IC. That being said just because I dont like it doesnt mean anything. Now that we know when IC is coming will we see any PVE updates before the end of the year? Also will the orsinium addon have related gear sets and ways to earn them like IC? Im just curious when I should think about coming back to the game.

If ZOS is going to be successful with DLC's they need to have them sooner than later. Anything longer than 3 months between DLC's is really going to hurt their business. For optimal sales, they should release them every 6-8 weeks but I don't think that's possible for them. I wouldn't be surprised to see the next DLC at Christmas or just after....

If they stick to the 1 zone DLC model they need to, as @Robbmrp suggested, release them no longer than 3 months apart. Players will tear through content this small, much faster than traditional multi-zone + multiple update yearly expansions.

With IC releasing in September I would hope Wrothgar came in December. I have no faith ZOS is capable of that though, so I'm personally slating it at Jan/Feb.

I'm being optimistic and thinking it will come just in time for Christmas. On E3 it was stated "this year" and I'm taking that as 2015, not a year from the video. I'm sure we won't get an answer until they are ready to give an actual date as they have now done for IC though.

Want to say Orsinium is going to be dropped Christmas or New Years.

Realistically, expecting maybe around March.

Do not want E3's preview to be everything we are getting until E3 2016; however, it would not surprise me if that were the case.

Assuming that it's close to being done, it will probably be in update 8. We'll probably start hearing more about it a month after update 7 is live. And hopefully it will hit test server a month after that, and live at the end of the 3rd month. But they MIGHT hold off on it a little more if they need to get queue up other content.

While I'd love to have it as soon as possible, I'd be ok for them to hold off on it for a month or 2 so that we don't have another content drought.

I think the audience for Orsinium will be different from the audience for IC. I cant believe some of the threads Im reading about people cannot wait to cause as much grief as they can in IC. I in no way want any part of that. PVP is ok. Ganking people for hard earned tokens is not my cup of tea. So looks like Ill be playing SWTOR until next year.

It is about time something was added to PvP. With that Zos needs to get off their duffs and start loading this game with content. It's been an absurdly long time without meaningful content. No wonder some more of the top devs have been shown the door.

Seeing how all PVP gankers and *** who get ready to start leeching on others people work when IC is released i suggest that:

- any new PVE zone and current PVE zones should be locked out for every player who in last 3/6/12/24 hours killed another player in PVP.

PVPers tell us STFU and GTFO out of cyriodiil if "our heart cant take some pvp? Well, then they shouldnt be welcomed in PVE areas.

I said in another thread that I feel the level of people being upset by TV stones being lootable would be greatly reduced if PvE content and methods to gear and level the new VR ranks were also coming at the same time, so hopefully its sooner than later.

You mention mere tweaks for pvp. NOTHING REAL. Balancing things is not adding and it's laughable someone would suggest that in this manner.

For PvE you fail to remember the addition of the following.

3 trials
DSA - he's end game content in ESO
Multiple new dungeon stories and bosses.
Not to mention the normal level group dungeons now scale to get level.

Such hate is bad for the heart. Locking out PvE players from PvE content just because they also like some PvP action is not such a good idea.

Go look at the patch notes for each patch since launch. 99% of it is pvp fixes. Adding things for pvp etc. You guys have had every second of their attention since launch. Its a joke you say they ignored pvp and nothing "real". give me a break. The entire game has been basically ruined with pvp balance after pvp balance.

I hope this year, and btw, isnt it bit odd they havent added chat to consoles yet or even said whats the plan, so unless IC brings chat I think there might be another update coming soon too. Thats the thing, I think there should be PVE and PVP development teams. I remember Brian's interview way back and he mentioned he had own team and IC is from him.

Orsinium is scheduled to come out before the end of this year. The Imperial City was scheduled to come out one DLC prior to that. So, presumably things are on track

Well, actually, you can get the new vet levels. And the PVP gear is much, much more than fair being bind on equip. Lower & Upper Craglorn + their trials (and feasibly, Master weapons... the chances of getting a nice trait of the weapon you want out of the campaign bags is tiny in PVP), and the new veteran dungeons such as vCoH and vCoA have a large amount of gear that simply paying gold isn't an option for when a PVP-focused player wants to get them. Being able to just buy them from other players doing something they find fun, and earn the gold doing something you yourself enjoy is a more than equitable trade.

Cyrodiil has had zero expansion or additions other than updating existing sets to the new veteran rank caps since launch, and contains no special bind on pickup gear like PVE does, which has had several major updates. Cyrodiil has much, much less PVE in it (arguably extremely minor amounts period) than the Imperial City looks to be set to have. You may be "stuck" for a couple of months waiting on Orsinium (which even has a release date set for the next few months after the Imperial City hits, unlike everything else until now including the City itself up until a couple of days ago) if all you do is PVE world questing (which is the vast majority of the game world already)... but both Trials & PVP players have been waiting a lot longer for new stuff on either end. Trials/vDSA were great additions, but nothing else followed for that tier of gameplay, while PVP until now hasn't had anything

Im not saying PVP shouldnt have options. Im saying PVP shouldnt be the ONLY option other than repeating the same old same old over and over. I will not come back just to grind out two new vet levels. Ill come back when someday they offer the solo casual people something again. The entire game up until VR10 is basically solo casual if you want it to be. After VR10 solo casuals are told to take a hike in favor of elitest leaderboard groups and group only stuff.

There should be options available to us. Instead we get craglorn, upper craglorn, vet dungeons and a entire new pvp zone. Then they wonder why so many people have stopped paying them. I would guess I am in the majority or at least used to be.

Yes which you wont be able to get unless you are in the pvp guild who owns the dungeon. Or are you saying the two new dungeons are group rather than public? If they are group then at least that helps me out somewhat. I still just like to get on do my own thing. The majority of the game I am allowed to do this. Then I hit VR10 and either have to start over or stop playing. Its been like this for quite some time. I was hoping we would see both areas released around the same time.

They're adding content, not taking away content, and instead of releasing both pve and pvp together, they're feeding us what we want. Stop being so damn childish.

They just said at Quakecon that DLC packs will release Quarterly.

So, I reckon end of November for Orsinium IF they stick to that.
