DK overplayed?

I was just wondering if everyone uses a dragon knight, every time iv grouped up its been at least 2 DK and sometimes 3... I feel like I need to change my class because it seems everyone plays a DK on x1 NA servers!

It's a popular clasd, especially since Skyrim was the last single player elder scrolls game and everyone wants to be the dragon born still.

Also doesn't help that it's an incredibly versatile and powerful class that draws a lot of players just for the pvp.

I have two Dragonknights(one stamina and one magicka). Not because they are overpowered(I die easily and often) but because they are so much fun to play with cool looking abilities. Who DOESN'T want to have dragon wings???? My first character was a Nightblade and I loved her...until I saw someone with dragon wings. Then it was love at first sight.

Yeah the dragon wings are pretty amazing, I chose it because I like to tank, but it just seems everyone I run into is playing one, thinking I may have to switch over to a NB!!

Yeah I've actually made a video killing 3 players (2 night blades, 1 sorcerer) who was AP hunting. DK is extremely good in PvP if you know how to mess the other player(s) up.

Lol you should check out pvp, out of 100 people 60% will be sorc, 30% will be nb, 5% will be dk, 5% will be templar.

DK used to be the class most were playing in PvP. They nerfed wings to a reasonable level and NB fear got buffed so they became killable. Those that are most interested in that toon that can tank 10 enemies switched to Sorc.

DK's are still very powerful, but you have to really watch your resources. I still see DK's taking on multiple opponents at a time and doing very well. It's just that most take the easy road.

Play what you want man....just for God's sake don't play a sorc.

DKs were insanely OP in pre1.6 and thats why there are so many left around

DK's are still pretty solid, just templars are more OP in PvE now.

those magica blockbots are a pain in the arse with the way whips work currently they are definatly not unpowerfull.
and as stamina spec they have the same powerfull tools as every otherclass...

I play DK spellsword build.
It uses the obsidian shard which is great for knocking down enemies.
Entropy for healing.
Soultrap for dot.
Flame whip.
Sword and empty hand.
Full light armour and robes.

Until you finally understand that it's useless to focus a tank in the middle of the battle. You focus the tanks when there are no other enemies left in the battlefield. Tanks are harmless, they just focus the attention of people who should better choose their primary target.
