Magicka DK Tank build?

So I originally ran my DK up as a fire mage but my friends are needing a tank more and more. I love the magicka build for my DK but was wondering how easy it is to convert him over to become a tank. I already swapped out his light armor for 5 pieces heavy , 1 light , 1 medium. How would I change my stats around for the magicka tank build? I had all points dumped into Magick before but what should be the new spread on points? Is anyone running a build they could post to give me ideas of how my playstyle will change and the set up? Thanks.

As a magicka DK tank, you gotta take a good look at the skills you're ging to use. For example, Igneous Shield and GDB. Igneous shield is scaled of your health and the healing buff is flat, with GDB you get healed by 33% of missing health (so basically scales of health) which means having a pretty high magicka pool doesn't affect those skills you use to stay alive. (unless you're a tank trying to put up max dps too). But simply having good mag regen gives the oppertunity to use it more often.

Having a bigger stamina pool is more likely useful on a DK tank than a high magicka pool. I'd invest my points into health and stamina and make sure you have a decent magicka regeneration.

It's not really optimal to convert a dps into a tank, while still want to keep your dps. It's possible, but tanking might be a little harder then (and maybe not viable enough for the hardest content for tanks in the game)0

As a magic build DK tank you don't need alot of magicka, maybe for sustained aoe but other then that not that much. Their are plenty of DK magic build tanks that do tank in light armor just so they can invest more into stamina. Their are also plenty of abilities like hardened armor, circle of protection that will up your physical resist. Note that it will never be on par with heavy armor but it get's the job done.

If just tanking 4 man content I would probably leave points as they are and invest in gear for health - you only need 25k for 4 man content and can get that from gear. With lots of magicka and regen you can spam shield all day, or if you want to go more offensive, slot lava whip along with the cheap magicka dot (think unstable flame is stam versio, can't remember magicka one)
