But likely won't be purchasing the DLC.

The majority, yes. However, it seems to fall into two camps: players who expected this DLC to be free because it was announced prior to the game going B2P and those who figured Imperial City would fall into the subscription-content window.

My biggest concern is that if Imperial City's content requires keeps to control in order to enter than we're just going to replace buff servers with keep servers in order to access end game content... which would be pretty devastating.

YES!

1- It will be free for me, I didn't spend one red cent ZOS gave me for subbing

2- It's finally something new to explore

3- Comes with level upgrade and gear upgrades (I like having the bar consistently made higher, its an MMO for Talos sake)

My only dislike of anything I've seen is lootable objects, however I am waiting until PTS to fully form my opinion on that

I'm excited.

I'm super pleased, it sounds just like Darkness Falls from Dark Age of Camelot (I'm convinced a lot of the Mythic team must work for Zenimax now because this game in general is almost a carbon copy of DAoC with TES lore overlaid ontop of it. Which I love).

Darkness Falls was definitely a player favorite, and the Realm generally cooperated to open it and flush the enemy out when you took control of it. Great place to EXP, PvP, Raid, and buy gear.

I'm not as confident that ESO players will love it because it seems a lot of them have never played MMORPGs before and expect this game to be just like playing Skyrim (which is obviously the only TES game they've ever played *side eye*) and aren't used to having to interact with other players to do anything. So you have a bunch of anti-social PvE'ers with weak grasps of what an MMO is being exposed to uniquely MMO content. We will see.

I'm gonna love it either way, despite all the wailing and gnashing of teeth coming from the Negative Nancys.

Time will tell, to old to get hyped
