I hope it's soon! I think I am getting carpal tunnel from all the gaming I'm doing lol

No, third party software does not work effectively. It's trying to make your controller a mouse and keyboard. An official patch will be much better. :\

Really we do it without like, the musical instruments. This is the only musical: the mouth. And hopefully the brain attached to the mouth. Right? The brain, more important than the mouth, is the brain. The brain is much more important.

It was being considered by ZeniMax last I heard, if I recall correctly.

No idea if it is actually in the works, though.

The last I heard, which I think was some time in May. Was that they planned on giving PC players native controller support and the controller UI sometime after the console launch.

Mind you in Zenispeak, sometime after PC launch was used to describe when ESO would launch on consoles and that turned into more then a year.

Honestly in real terms bringing controller support to the PC is not hard. It's most likely a form of "feature purchase corralling" and holding to feature exclusivity on the consoles as long as possible to try and divert more players to that platform that's really going on. it's a silly business practice that sounds good in a board room, but in actuality is a long term profit vampire because it tends to disenfranchise customers that catch on pretty quickly. Also you are hamstringing your product out of a wider market base.

Kind of like platform exclusive titles to drive hardware sales. In the short term, a game company takes a pay out from a hardware manufacture for exclusivity because it's pretty nice to have their development cost reimbursed so quickly. In the long term they are screwing themselves out of greater profits because they are limiting themselves to the owners of a specific peice of hardware rather then expanding their sales opportunities on many platforms.

If I didn't know better I would think an ex cell phone company exec from 2003 is running the business decisions at Zenimax Online.

    Alright business structure rant closed.
