Veteran Levelling question

I'm currently VR1 in the DC. So currently in the Aldemeri maps, the second one to be specific. I like to get the adventurer questing achievements for each map before I move on. So I completed the first map like so, and currently onto the second. I'm 3/4 through VR1, and I was wondering if this sounds right? It seems to take so long to level up (Which I already knew).

But does anyone know how much XP you need normally for one VR level? And how many levels would that equate to with normal levels? (I.E 1-50)

1 vr level is 1 million exp

Not sure the equivalent to normal leveling.

1 champion point is 400k exp
1 champion point while inspired is 100k exp (4x faster) (so 10 inspired cp = 1 vet level)

As your Vet 1 you get 12 points worth of inspiraton to start off with. You get 1 Cp worth of inspiration a day, the max you can hold is 12 days worth

Should be getting about one VR per zone, at least that's about how it works out for me. I don't do a lot of grinding, puts me to sleep lol.

Yeah I didn't do any grinding, but that's what I mean is weird, I got the achievement for the first map for all the questing (46 main quests I think??) and I was surprised I didn't get to VR 2, instead I was like 1/3 of the way through VR1

Make sure to be exploring the whole zone also. Dolmens, solo dungeons and world bosses yield a large amount of experience. Completing group and public dungeons is good also. It is supposed to be about one VR per zone but sometimes you have to really stretch the zone to make that happen.

What I do to make sure I don't fall short each map is to just make the effort to kill EVERYTHING I see as I'm journeying about between quests. It really does not add that much time. With my last character I was VR14 with two maps yet to go on Cadwell's Gold.

Wow really? Yeah I'm guilty of not killing everyone on the way cause it's just a pain sometimes. But majority of the time I do. Right now I've just cleared all quests in Greenshade and am at the next map.... 2/3 of the way through VR 2 :S

EDIT: And yeah looking at the maps I do go for all the bosses and dungeons, I think there may be only like 2-3 max on each map that I may have missed and not cleared. Dungeons are hard, as I've been through a couple and couldn't find the boss so it looks like I haven't cleared it... and I'll go back to it another day.
