Will Imperial City promote zerg gameplay?

    I don;t think it matters if it still has the same lag we have currently, which all indications point to it will.

    If it is like darkness falls or land of the dead in WAR there will be a zergy flip at eviction time, then ganking from there.

    The best way to make it not zergy is to make sure there are no multiplication of drops. If a kill has 6 stones on them and is killed by 12 people every other person would get 1 stone or the KB player would get 6 and nobody else would get one. I prefer KBs only to encourage small group play where everyone has to worry about their own interests and if they group have to share from a limited pool.

    There were some other bad suggestions about losing only a portion of your stones not all, and everybody getting a copy of your total. If the gear is to have any value you can't have a kill trading scenario like this ready to exponentially increase the number of stones in the world.

    I figure if I'm carrying stones and get killed... I'm releasing asap, and hopefully whomever killed me gets nothing.

    Now if they force a player to remain in place until looted, before they are allowed to release, that would be open to some exploitation by not looting players and forcing them to be out of the game until they auto spawn.

    If they have a copy of the dead player that remains to be looted after the player releases, then we're gonna have the floor littered with bodies, and lots of gankers unable to decide which they are supposed to tbag.

    I think this is the most distressing change of experience introduced with the new DLC.

    On a more on topic note, I guess we will be seeing how the stones work and how to acquire them tomorrow during ESO live. I won't get my hopes up that it's an intelligent system since most game systems in ESO are pretty awful. I can't think of one off the top of my head that works right.
