Enchantment for Combat question

Would it be good to add poison damage on my staff ( enchantment )... I'm just trying to prepare myself cus I got whooped by a WW lol....questing in Cydroil.
Thats only if they even apply to staff damage.. do they ?

Poison and Disease are the best Enchantments to apply to a weapon.

And, yes it procs on any Light or Heavy Attack from any weapon, as long as you are not in the Cool Down

Now what do you mean by cooldown @Nestor ? How can I tell if the enchantment is on a CD?

The Enchantment will fire about every 4 seconds. There is a trait that reduces this time. So you don't get the extra damage on each weapon attack.

Would you also mind answering this off topic..
Im a vet 3 sorc... I was wondering if using destro/2Hand is good for DPS... or stick with my destro/restro...
Im trying to find a good dps weapon set for my use...

If your Magic, stick with the Staff, if your Stamina, then why are you a Stamina Sorcerer?

Some people equip a 2H or DW just to increase spell damage, but that does not work for me.

I like my Staff as it can be both Ranged DPS and Tank DPS. I run a Destro on both bars in fact, one for AoE and one for Single Target DPS. I was playing with AUI last night (an addon that shows damage dealt) and my Sorerer hits like a mack truck with her Destro Staff, doing as much Damage with a Staff Heavy Attack as my 2H NB does with a Stamina Build and Wrecking Blow.

I will keep that in mind.. what kind of armor set up do you have?? 7 lights..5 heavy etc..
The only reason I kept a restro staff was due to my health depleting faster than I would like when I get hit lol..
I think i have 2 or 3 points in health

lol .

But I will def look into on staff for Single target and the other for AoE...

Do you use Fire destros more? I hear thats good for single target @Nestor

As for armor, 5 light 2 heavy, 5 Seducer, 3 Torug's Pact currently, with spell cost reductions for Jewelery and all Magic Gylyphs on armor. All or almost all attributes in Health, champ points for spell cost reduction and regen.

I use Hardened Ward and Boundless Storm for protection. In fact, with those two shields up, I only take damage if I don't keep them up. I can put up the shields, wade into a crowd of enemies and never budge my health bar. You will get Boundless Storm before you get Hardened Ward, IIRC.

Well regarding the champ points and the glyphs, Im looking more into fire res. ... due to me being a vamp lol but I will def looking everything else.. looks like some respec might come to play here
