when you use stead fast ward the skill says that allies will be healed but does this also heal you at the same time? and which is a nicer morph healing ward or the second one?
Pretty much every healing spell in the game also heals the caster in addition to other targets. For that spell's morphs, go for the one that boosts damage for allies by 8%, that's typically what people want for endgame dungeon runs.
I prefer ward ally morph but I also play a Templar so I don't need the healing from the bubble. Ward Ally places a shield on you and the lowest target so its great for times of unavoidable damage as a preheal for 2 people.

You're thinking of blessing of protection/restoration, and combat prayer. Healing ward is the skill that puts a shield around the group member with the lowest health.
To answer OP's question, healing ward only heals the group member who receives the shield; it cannot heal more than 1 person per cast. That being said, if you're the person with the lowest health in your group, and you cast healing ward, it will put the shield around yourself.
