Stolen Goods Limit?

Over the course of my game, the only way I've ever gotten substantial amounts of money is through selling stolen goods. I always noticed that is said ?/50 items sold, but I thought when you reached 50, it might reward you. Today, I found myself completely wrong, and in shock as it tells me I cannot sell anymore goods today. Why is this in the game? Who does this benefit? It is basically just telling me I can't make money today.

It is in the game to have limits on how many you can sell each day. It resets the following day. Having the limit prevents anyone from stealing and making money endlessly.

Invest in Trafficker - legerdemain skill line - at a maximum 4/4, it will allow you to sell and launder 140 items separately.

You can put skill points into the Skill line and greatly increase the amount of items you can steal and sell. its a progression system looks at the all the things in teh skill line, also makes you better at stealing. It very easy to make money farming and killing creatures as well

There is a passive you can unlock that more than doubles how much you can Fence.

Also, there is Fencing and Laundering, so you can reach the limit on both. So, unlock the first passive and you can Fence/Launder 220 items each day. If you reach the limit and unlock the passive, it immediately raises the limit for you.
