How do you determine fire resist baseline?

Jewelry enchant +1000 fire resist.

Vampire debuff - 40% more damage from fire attacks

Dummer class - +3% resist to flame damage

How do you even begin to calculate where you are? Character sheet doesn't have flame resist on it, so I have no idea what baseline is. Any clues?

    3000 / 648 * 3,09= 14,3 fire ressi + 4 from dunmer = 18%

    40 - 18 = 22%

    with this number, you will Need to spend arround ~70 CP in Elemental Def to negate the debuff from Vamp

    What is '3000'? And are you assuming VR14 with these numbers?

    Also if I add the fire resist jewelry enchant of 1000, I'm not seeing how to apply it to these equations.

    That was a very helpful answer, thank you. I was curious about it too.

    The 3000 came from the enchant, assuming you enchant all three of your jewelery pieces with the 1000 fire resist. Also, I don't think that's scaled to vr14... numbers are numbers, right?

    Now that Vampire vulnerability to fire has been lowered to 25%, without 1000 fire resist enchants on jewelry, how many CP points do I need in Steed elemental defender to eliminate the 25% penalty? And does Steed spell shield resistance also help here?
