I am a console player with 100-120MB DL, 11-18MB UL, and hardwired....I lag out or lose connection to ESO servers 10+ times a day. All hardware including external wiring are about a month old I port forward, ect, ect, ect. Ive never had an issue with any other game like this.

I ran into my first lag squad yesterday. 20-30 standing right outside bleakers spamming aoe's as fast as possible. All of a sudden FR dropped to near zero and most of my group DC'd. They had nearly no resistance.

I'm sure if ZOS added friendly fire to AoE, the Impulse/Steel Tornado zergs lagging it up would be gone in a day, maybe less.
Of course it won't happen, but it's nice to dream.

I feel like with lag post I some times wonder if the developers just sit there go "Man they still hates us, Better put more horses In the crown store!"

Until AOE caps are 100% fully removed and every single person within an aoe range takes 100% of the damage these zergs will continue to dominate with their free passive damage reduction bonuses.

Not true. On PS4 there is mega lag, sound distortions and crashes. I crashed 12 times in a 2 hour period in Cyrodiil earlier. The lag isn't even contained to Cyrodiil, I lag in the VR areas with low players too.

It's a wonderful experience when it goes right, but it's so blemished with problems it makes it hard to appreciate.

@Igglez Thanks for speaking up. It's refreshing to see that some of the same issues happen on PC and console. While I'm sorry that you experience them the same as us it helps me determine whether or not I need to buy some shares of Kool Aid.

Seems a lot of people are drinking it these days.

Well, this is the game I always dreamt about since I stumbled upon Morrowind.

It's beautiful, it's challenging, it allows you to create, not only builds, but characters with their own personality (not as deep as a regular ES game, but enough for an MMORPG). For RPG fans it is one of the few MMO that feels like an RPG... and it allows you to compete against others. The whole idea of Cyrodil as a huge battle zone is priceless...

But, I can't play there.

I know I have the option to play the PVE, but I don't want that. The main reason I came back after TU was the chance to play an ES MMORPG... If you take away the MMO part, what reason do I have to play the RPG if it isn't as good as othet titles in the same series?

I think it is high time to go back to good old Morrowind. Maybe Oblivion too. Maybe give Skyrim a second chance, or go for Fallout IV when it is ready.

Someday I'll come back maybe. Will this be the same? Will I be the same?

Will the game be there?
