Got me thinking, this is how you get maddddd Master Gold items.
I mean.. I look at EP dude Walks to L'Reh... 6.5 MILLION AP....
He could've
Played Haderus, get into top 2% EASILY
Played Chillrend before it ended, get into top 2% EASILY
If enough days to get into top 2% on Haderus play that again and get into top 2%
Switch to Azura Star get into top 2%.
His 6.5 MILLION AP could've got him over 10 MASTER GOLDS!!!
...
It's not like they give people who stay on the campaign anything special.
Heck EP LOST that campaign too, I'm not even sure you get Masters GOLD for losing.
...
Still.
He could've got OVER 10 GOLD ITEMS.
I'm about to try this out right now, no idea why no one else does this.

ZOS, incentivize the behavior you want.
Specifically, allow people to select the type of master weapon they seek in advance of pursuing campaign leader boards.
Given the rewards are bound, players are incentivized to farm per-se because more frequently than not, they receive a reward that does not compliment their play style.
One weapon per token, one to five tokens (depending on duration) a campaign? All for it.Token system or something of the sort. Now I'm sounding like Agrippa....ZOS, incentivize the behavior you want.

Having 6.5 million on Azura's does not mean you would have received the equivalent on other campaigns in the same period of time. For example, in 1 week's time I have only gotten 1.15 million on Haderus, despite having Emperor and not sleeping well. Normal humans have only 600k on Haderus.
Azura's Star is extremely good for farming due to the massive blue zerg population. Good guilds can farm 60+ guilds like Chuck Norris with only 12-16 players gaining massive AP. This is likely what Walks did.
I PVP a LOT (at least a lot in the eyes of my wife, not compared to the top 2%!) and I think once I was in the top 10%...but never close to the top 2%. Sucks.
Can't imagine getting into the top 2% on azuras while only playing there for a few days. That's crazy
