I think we can all agree that NPC guards that defend keeps and resources are a joke to most groups. Groups can stack and AoE them down with not much trouble.
To make things more interesting, I think NPC guards should be given the ability to cast inevitable detonation on an enemy player.
I don't think this will be 'overpowered', it's pretty easy to counter so it won't make too much of a difference against good players. If an NPC casts this ability on you, you will need to move away from your allies and your allies shouldn't mindlessly spam purge in case it gets cast on someone. I think this is a pretty straight forward feature to implement and will add something extra for attackers to think about which will make capturing the flags a more engaging experience.
