A couple of questions concerning HIRELINGS and WRITS

1. I leveled blacksmithing, woodworking and clothing to level 41, meaning that I have 9/9 everywhere and 3/3 hirelings everywhere. Will not having the professions skilled at 50 have any influence on the items I receive from my hireling?

2. Why are blacksmithing/woodworking/clothing crafting writs useful? Are they even useful? Are they worth the time to craft all of the items? If so, why?

3. If I wanna do blacksmithing/woodworking/clothing crafting writs efficiently, do I need to spend skill points on all blacksmithing skills?

4. I have provisioning leveled at 50. However, the only provisioning skill I used the skill points on was the hireling. It's a 3/3. Will this affect he items I receive via hireling? Will I still be able to receive Frost Mirriam, for example?

5. If I wanna do provisioning crafting writs efficiently, which skills must I upgrade? (I don't care about the strenght of the crafted potions, I care about the loot in the crafting writ crates)

Looking forward to your answers.

    1. No
    2. It is one of two sources of Gold Tempers
    3. There is no way to make writs more efficient other than being really good at material farming
    4. Sure, my low level Provisioners get the Purple stuff. That being said, I have not seen a Purple mat from my provisioning hirelings, low or max level in over a week. Hopefully its just RNG being mean to me.
    5. The ones that make more portions so you use less mats. Other than that, you don't need any points if your just doing writs.

    1. No
    2. Writs can drop surveys. Surveys have a higher chance to drop nirncrux and grant double materials
    3. No. You have to create white items, no improvents or such
    4. No, no influence. You will get frost mirriam and the other purple one. 3 points increases chance and you can get
    2 mails a day
    5. 9 points in skill, 3 in the skill that makes 4 portions/drinks out of one set of raw food.the loot itself is determined by the writ level, not skill. 9 points will create writs for craglorn (if you can get there).

Just want to add that unless you have 3/3 on the hirelings and extracting you wont be seeing gold tempers like ever. It didnt used to be that way, I cant remember when they changed it. Thats why many folks say hold all your mats till you get 3/3 extracting then you will see a ton of golds.

Personally I haven't seen a gold temper from my hirelings in about 2 weks either and this is with levels and points spent maxxed out on two characters. Very random indeed!
