Pman85✭✭✭✭Nerf is litteraly the Nerf brand of soft squishy things. When you nerf something you take it and make it softer, make it easier, or make it less that what is was/should of been.
Does that make sense?
I like to think about it like this. You have your regular old pigskin. You or someone else doesnt like it and they change, it to something easier for the kids to play with. It means to "make soft", or in other words, not hurt as much, aka be much easier to handle. This is a reference to "nerf rifles" which are toys that shoot soft, plush pellets or balls.
