Deleting a Character

I would like to know when I can delete a rolled character that I want to remove and create a different one I am only told that it will happen at some time later. Does anybody know who long I should wait?

Flynch✭✭✭✭On the PC version you can delete up to 3 characters to begin with and it is immediate. You then get one of your 'delete options' back every 24 hours until you have refilled the 3 'delete option' slots. Hope that makes sense.
If you are on the console, I have no idea how that works, sorry!0
