Why can't we trade in the forums?

I'm just wondering what the reasoning is behind this. I know it's against the ToS but why? Also is it only in these forums? Could we make our own forums and trade there?

Because in most games where trading was required, but where the trade system was so bad that it required some sort of online thingie like the official forum to function, things usually turned very bad.
-Time delays. You are trading with a guy that may have sold his stuff a while ago. Never had it. Didn't actually want to sell it.
-Scamming.
-Hard to maintain and moderate. It would generate more Name/Shame threads than anything.
-Very inconvenient.
-The people responsible for the forums certainly do not want or should be expected to deal with what should be a basic essential working in game system for a AAA MMO.

Because all trade would transfer to the forums and make insane spam. People needs to stop being unsocial and be part of a guild. Not to mention not everything cant be handled to you by a gold plate.

Forums spammed with requests for basic goods like fishes and onions that are in game at every corner, but people need it absolutely nao.
Topics spammed with newbs selling lvl20 white weapons thinknig its worth something just because it has a name.
