    No Oceanic Servers

    The gameplay is not 100% smooth and I get sometimes combat delays. Difficult against strong enemies.

    I do play it sometimes but not as that much because of it.

    Nothing new.

    Can't experience old content without a group, due to leveling.

    Huge buff gained by the most mind numbing pathetic waste of time called fishing.

    Broken skills not fixed.

    Pay to win dynamic introduced.

    Pvp is repetitive drive. It's the most basic capture the Flag I've seen since Mario Brothers.

    Watered down, babies first mmo user interface and character development.

    Based on the best looking, but worst rpg elements of the franchise.

    The tread mill gear grind introduced, even though they said crafted gear would be the best. See lies/change of mind

    Lack of clear focus by the company. Too many irons in the fire, Nothing is finished properly before released.

    Lack of testing patches on a true to live server. The one they use in house has to be different, or they would experience the same lag and broken game play we do.

    Guild pretty much called time of death last fall after finding out it would be another year before new content would even be seen, still not sure we will see it till spring 2016.

    Pc ignored last 9 months.

    Templar skills ignored, changed, nerfed, nerfed again, changed, nerfed, buffed on accident, double nerfed and then forgotten about for six months.

    Grinding isn't fun in a story based game.

    Absolutely zero punishment for cheating, unless hundreds of people bomb the forum in an explosion of Pure rage. Even then more people got banned for flaming inactive mods than for gate jumping.

    ZOS will never give straight answers. It's always some vague phrase. Ie. Gate jumping gate. First it was not an exploit, then an unintended exploit, then an exploit but not banable offense, but it took two weeks to get an answer.

    When will these be fixed? When will the game be as advertised? When will it be fun again?

    Soon™ < NUMBER ONE REASON,

    The lack of text-chat.
    It makes it very hard to run a guild when you can't tell your members IN GAME what is happpening without going into five different voice channels and HOPING there are members actually listening.

    Everyone crying and moaning about how things are too OP and so the changes begin. Play the game how it was designed or leave it. I hate it when they modify the characters due to pvp and which in turn makes them garbage for those who love to play PVE like myself.

    Sometimes I swear I'm playing or fighting things (of the same level) that basically one shot you before you can get off 2-3 abilities and that's with having green or better gear and weapons at the same level where as they can kill you with an ability that does 4k dmg and your little stick with a string or your dual butter knives do 200dmg like wtf.

    You have to be grouped up in order to go through the game or over level by grinding then come back to the mission. What's the fun in that.

    I love the game personally but as just like someone said before people want the game to suit their needs which ruins it for alot, instead of just playing it how it was designed.

    @ZoS is the main reason. If you don't understand why feel free to read through this thread, it has many good points http://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/194029/delayed-release-of-information/p1. I haven't been around nearly as long as many of you but this comunication or lack there of from the developers is just so agonizing to watch.

    @ZOS_GinaBruno
    ZOS is seriously screwing up badly, and needs to seriously shape up if you guys plan to keep players. Let's think about this for a minute. Delayed the release of information that was already pretty darn delayed for a really delayed patch that has been a long time coming, but was delayed because of consoles. Delayed, delayed, delayed. Do you know what Square Enix does? Do you guys at ZOS even pay attention to what other MMO companies do? If not, let me give you a hint. There's a whole lot of transparency and accountability. People are informed (in great detail) way ahead of time of what to expect in the next big updates, and release dates come pretty fast.

    But we aren't playing those other games, we're playing ESO. Why? Because we love ESO. Unfortunately it feels like we're being taken advantage of because of that. You guys at ZOS are taking away the only hope that some of us have of this MMO ever being halfway decent, only because you can't get your act together and give us SIMPLE INFORMATION on a timely basis.

    This is ridiculous, and while I praise everyone who sticks around, I won't be surprised nor will I blame those who decide they've had enough.

    Seriously ZOS, it's crunch time. Either get this game back on its feet or you're going to lose a lot more than you can afford to.

    Wtf was that? Oh... this is a dream.

    I think the question now lies more along the lines of are they even listening? And I'm sure everyone would love more accountability from there department but there pr as we all know from recent events is not good or apparently accountable for anything ... The worst part is you can tell everyone loves this game they just want change and a couple fixes... I am on this boat

    I can guarantee you that they are listening to everything we say on the forums, its not like its hard to find these threads with how often they come up in "recent". Personally I think that at this point its a matter of do they even care/know how to be devs on an MMORPG that is lacking in meaningful content, with how they have been acting in their own forums and how they have been pussyfooting around IC it makes it seem as if they blatantly don't care what their player-base thinks about them or their trustworthiness. It could all be that they just have GOD AWFUL management telling them that they cant say certain things about updates because super secret circle jerk=profit? I honestly don't know myself but jesus this is really sloppy for being a top name franchise (Not that TESO is the next elder scrolls game in my books).

    Then they need to demonstrate that with something more than /lurk - which in my opinion is saying "I'm posting in this thread so you think I care, but I don't".

    They need to demonstrate that they are listening by actually addressing in the forums , directly, many of the more common complaints - this means more than a /lurk or "we are listening", it means regular updates about what they are thinking, how the number-crunching pans out, how the internal testing pans out. When a change hits the PTS it should be for testing, the back-and-forth communication between Devs and players needs to have happened long before that. The truth is that there are probably 1,000 or so players (and I am NOT claiming I am one of them) who understand what is wrong with this game and how to fix it far better than Zeni ever will - because these guys and gals have 10 more /played than than any Dev.

    They need to demonstrate they are listening by actually fixing the issues that matter to people: VR, CP, dysfunctional trade system, deliberate time-sink crafting (60 days to research a trait - FFS they are having a laugh).

    They may indeed be listening - unfortunately none of the actual evidence on these forums or in game supports that claim.

    They have all the tools to communicate with us at their own disposal 24/7. I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY doubt that @ZoS stops reading the forums just because they closed for the weekend, and I also HIGHLY doubt that they are only allowed to log into their @ZoS accounts within work hours. With how they deliberately (if not then it sure as hell seems like it) ignore multiple users messaging them about general information about content they promised a YEAR ago, it doesn't seem as if they care at all. They have an ENTIRE forum page dedicated to developers communicating with us but they leave it empty except for ancient posts that aren't relevant. The month (it won't happen in a day or two) @ZoS starts communicating with any of its fanbase on a reasonable level is when this game starts having a bright future.

    As stated above their lack of response on their own official forums leaves alot of people feeling frustrated. Take the console chat discussion for example nearly 60 pages long and all people want is a answer just a simple yes or no so people can move on. It also doesn't help that they seem far more active on 3rd party sites than their own forums.

    mostly the poor combat mechanics
    -> animation cancelling (i know other games have had it, that doesn't justify its presence here or make it good)

    -> perma-blocking, -dodging

    -> aoe spam

    -> poor client performance at times, with occasional very frequent crashes; horrible patching; infinite loading screens

    -> the inventory minigame

    -> a lot of the armor has a very plastic look to it, maybe it's just me

    ** blast from the past:
    -> permablinking & ultimate stacking emperor vampsorcs
    - riding with a hundred players for 15min, getting all killed in a few seconds by an invisible player blinking through us ggwp
    - all reporting& trying to get someone from customer support about it, gettting an answer after a few days in the lines of -> "just use silver bolts" -_- it only took around 2-3 months to fix...

    -> shield bashers (much skill such wow)

    &some others i guess, but it's nice outside so i'm gonna stop typing. have a great sunday! B)

    Gamers who try to change everything to suit themselves instead of adapting to their environment.....

    Most complaints you see around these forums are hardly trying to change the game to suit themselves. It's largely unambiguously broken mechanics, bugs, crashes and significant problems that have existed since beta on PC and continue to plague the game.

    Just because you're content with mediocre doesn't mean everyone else has to be.

    Which is the other thing that I find extremely distasteful in the game. The community and the sheer volume of people ready to jump to defend the company taking their money for an unfinished and damaged product.

    Thanks for that burger Micky-dee's, it's fine that it's not at all what I ordered and someone took a bite out of it before it got to me, take my money for this fine product, I'm lucky to have it at all.

    If we just hated the game, don't you think we'd go play something else? As opposed to trying to push for advancement, improvement and solutions?

    lets not confuse ZoS participating on the forums as them being involved. lots of people are "active" on the forums, but not as much in the game. if you/we want proof of interest on their side, it should be in the form of patches/updates relative to the issues that are most pressing. they won't and can't respond to every post, about every problem. to be honest, they have been, in some respects, more active on the forums, than maybe 50% of the MMOs i have played. when it comes to customer service though, its always better to put up or shut up. so ill agree, stop saying "we are listening" in whatever political form you think works. it doesn't help.... no body trusts a politician for a reason....

    They're certainly reading a lot of the topics, that comes across in their comments here and on ESO Live. If you post your questions on the ESO Live thread there's a reasonable chance they'll answer those during the broadcast. They don't just pick the easy questions. I asked a few weeks ago about the Error 209 launcher bug that's been plaguing so many people for so long, and they acknowledged it and said it was being worked on. One or two maintenance patches later they seem to have fixed it in that I haven't experienced the bug a single time since a couple of patches ago and haven't seen anyone posting here on patch days about it either, whereas before then every patch day there would be loads of new complaints about it. ZOS do a lot of things that people just aren't interested in giving them credit for.

    If there's a game out there whose developer gets it all right first time, communicates constantly with the players and implements everything they want quickly and without complications, and who never change their mind about the direction of future development, while releasing new content as soon as it's needed then do please let me know, because I've been playing MMOs since 1998 and haven't played that game yet but would dearly like to!

    Poor communication (I don't watch ESO Live, and I realize that's pretty much all they do). Slow updates. Poor management. Bonehead decisions. Heavy-handed nerfs. Well I could go on. Honestly I just feel let down by all the things they talked about adding to the game, but probably never will because of poor game management regarding the console versions. The rough start, coupled with the inability to plan properly for console development has set this game back years.

    Awful people. I don't just mean people who don't want to listen to directions in dungeons. I'm also referring to people who go out of their way to grief/troll others. Seems like it was easier to avoid on the PC and in other MMOs I've played.

    I also wish there was greater control over the guild bank, such as having separate tabs for items, limiting withdrawals, better sorting for inventory, etc.

    The endless dodge spam in PvP gets old pretty fast, but I heard it's being fixed in the next major patch? I sure hope so.

    I'm starting to grow tired of this game, just reached VR2 on my single and only character. Some reasons are because i've been lurking the forums and see people consistently posting the same small issues that really hinder this game's potential, and i've hardly seen any community interactions along with any content/updates/fixes since i started playing on the PS4, this concerns me for the longevity of the game and makes me want to put the same effort into the game as the devs are, which at this point seems minimal. Also, after beating the main story and finding out that I can travel to the other covenant territories was kind of cool, but quickly realized that it's practically just the same game duplicated across 3 covenants with visual changes, although scaled up...it wears me down thinking of all those mindless quests to do again. the game is fun, but i'm finding a hard time to stick with it for the long term, i have no idea how some people can make 7-8 VR14 characters that's insane to me. Overall I had a decent time with this game, the company got my money anyways with the buy to play structure, i'm sure that's all that matters in the eyes of business, it's unfortunate to see so many people voucher for the lack of involvement and content/fixes the devs provide for the game, for a game that relies heavily on subscription/asthetics to make continuing money, I am shocked the game doesn't have a redo physical appearance or class for crowns/money, that's almost a top priority for a model structured around this, that says bad things to me about a company, also to have a community manager say 3 months ago this feature will be arriving "soon" and still not here speaks volumes...

    my feelings are, fun game for the short term, definitely not something for the long term.
