I've been using the DS4 thingy for my PS4 pad for a while, but it's not quite right. What with console release coming and them doing such a great job with Skyrim and what not, when's it coming?.
God I hope so. I use pinnacle on an old 360 wired controller and it is more of an aggravation than anything. The only thing we know is they said it "will not be available the same time as console release" but one can assume it will be implemented shortly thereafter.
I use DS4 coupled with XPadder and have absolutely no problems using my PS4 controller. I've programmed it exactly how I want and it works fine. However, the only thing that is missing is the ability to utilize DUAL actions on the same button- having E to collect and Spacebar to jump is inconvenient- but not impossible- as I also use a Logitech G13 for frequent keyboard keys- such as E, R, etc. which makes it much easier than having to reach for a keyboard all the time. However, keep in mind that Microsoft doesn't have a true, native, PS4 driver, so we'd still need to use an emulator even if ESO designs a controller schematic.

Hope it's coming sooner rather than later after console launch. When I used to play XIV before moving to here I loved unwinding by running around gathering mats with my gamepad.
So is up yet? Only I'm not going to continue playing until it is.
I can't bring myself to work through the hours of grinding to get to the decent PVP if I have to sit at a desk using a mouse and keyboard to play the 'story'.
