Does the ring of mara bonus show up up in the character screen?

Does the ring of mara bonus show up up in the character screen? I'm using it with my friend and it isn't showing for any of us. What do I do?

    When I tested it we had to be grouped and in close proximity for the bonus to work, but it has been many months since then so things may have changed or it could have simply been bugging out when we tested it. There's been plenty of bugs to go around, for sure.

    I just hit VR14 yesterday, if it was due to the ring i wouldnt know lol

    Of course it doesn't! That would break my immersion just like knowing how hard I hit you for would! Lol, that is what people complained so much about that we have now.

    Mine does not - so I'm not sure whether I have the 10% XP bonus or not, or whether it stacks with my ESO Plus 10% XP bonus gain either.

    If both you and your partner are in group together, wearing the rings and online you'll get the bonus. You don't even need to be in the same map for this to work.

    Yes it stacks with the 10% XP bonus gain from ESO Plus to a 20% bonus, this was confirmed by ZOS in thread/ESO Live.

    @Turelus so even if it doesn't show up under my character buffs, i still get the 10% XP bonus? Do u have the link to his thread by any chance?

    @TMick90 no link in regards to the XP not showing up on the sheet sorry, I only know via playing with an PC Add-On named "Loot Drop" which tells me XP I get per kill or quest, I can see the 10% gain via this.

    MissBizz one of our awesome community ambassadors posted the link/quote above in regards to the stacking however.

    i think i have it all down, but one question i still have.

    When you group and wear the rings, how far away can you be from your group mate? Same zone? All the way across Tamerial?

    That has been debated as I believe it may have changed at some point.. although I have seen answers (going both ways) I don't recall any recent answers with proof of testing done. I'd be interested as well actually. I considered testing this but it involves updating ESO on another PC in the house.. and I've been kind of lazy. If anyone has a concrete answer though please tag me so I get a ping and can come see!

    From my own personal testing I only have to be online and in group with my partner, we both had our rings on and he was getting the bonus. I was in Cyrodiil he was in Reaper's March.

    I don't have any proof of the matter only that our add-ons were telling us our experience was more than when we were ungrouped. I can run tests on this but it would have to be after the weekend as my ring of mara partner is away with his RL partner for the weekend. :joy:

    Thanks Turelus - that was actually been my previous experience when my partner was still playing, although that was at PC launch. Hoping to hear back from you. If you don't mind, could you see if you are both in the same area you gain even more XP? (grouping bonus - I heard that one you actually have to be near each other)

    I just hit VR14 yesterday, if it was due to the ring i wouldnt know lol

    No it doesn't show up and yes you have to be close for the effect to work as in both your names are light up in the group member box this does not work cross zone or even cross the map you have to be next to each other for it to work.
