Removed items from Crown Store

Please Zenimax, do not remove items from crown store. Where are blacksmiths clothes and chefs tunic, even some horses. Do not remove items (unless they are limitied time items). The more variety of items we have, the more choice for buying we will have, and more money you will earn. :)
"Welcome to Arrille's Tradehouse. I barter for goods or coin. I also have a small selection of spells for sale. No credit. You want a little advice? That's free. That's ALL that's free. Would you like to hear about our most popular potions? Our most popular scrolls?"

Not necessarily. Players have only finite amount of money (that ZOS could possibly earn) that will not grow if they add items to the cash shop. More items also do not mean more choice; some more blatantly P2W items might become de facto compulsory pruchases, which would drain your finite funds and narrow choices.

But more to the point, I think they should keep it up and get rid of other items too, starting with XP/CP boosters and ending with stupid mounts and costumes.

They stated that the items will return however I believe they're doing what many cash shops do which is cycle the items to try and drum up a sense of urgancy when items are to be removed. This makes people buy things and gives them more income.

I would rather have all items remain in the store with a cycle of sales each month than removals but sadly it's not as good marketing/sales wise.

Yeah, big part is marketing. As well, I think leaving absolutely everything in there would be far too much.. imagine a year from now.. I'd probably be sick of scrolling and not actually look at everything that is offered. Could it do with a bit more regular stock? Probably, but not quite everything.

I'd buy blacksmith clothes if they were on the store.

By definition, ZoS removing items makes then "limited time items".

They reserve the right to change/remove whatever they want.

However, a bit of heads-up would be nice before removal.

I personally don't think removing items and giving me that 'sense of urgency' works... Sales however do as evidenced by Steam and any number of F2P games.

Just put lots of stuff on the store... then rotate sales.

I definitely don't have a problem with XP boosts or anything like that, in fact I'm yearning for them on consoles. XP boosts are definitely not P2W they are just handy for those who want to speed up levelling... it's like grinding for people who don't like actually grinding... but prefer grinding with their day job which they do anyway.

Everything I've seen on the store thus far has been fairly reasonable except for pricing... If we had more things to buy, slightly cheaper items and rotating or weekend/weekly sales that'd be grand, I'd probably spend a metric faecal tonne on the store.

I'm a huge fan of the convenience items offered in Guild Wars 2. I'd pay handsomely for say a limited quantity all character bag slot upgrade, or for a reasonably price bank upgrade... stuff like that. Things that costs a huge amount in game that I could spend my real job hours earning instead of making the game a second job.

People really missed the boat in differentiating P2W from convenience though, just really grinds my gears whenever I read 'P2W' when there's nothing stopping you gaining something in game in a reasonable amount of time.

Limited/rare items like special mounts that look pretty, or gimmicky things like an XP potion that makes you have a magic aura could be limited sale... augmentations of regular items that are superficial would be great... just don't discontinue actually useful items.

    Anyway /rant
