Dwemer Gear

The tooltips for dwemer gear are a little confusing. Can I make a dwemer mace with my clothing skill at tailoring level 9? Or do I have to have blacksmithing at metalworking level 9? I'm trying to decide if I should keep the motif or sell it on the market.

Blacksmithing. Weapons require the appropriate skill from smithing or woodworking, just as armor requires smithing or clothing. Motif is across the board though for heavy, med, light as long as you have the skill. So no need for multiple say, chest books just to do a light and heavy.

It does make sense to group all the equipment crafting skills on one character... only one place to learn all the motivs that way. And over going all the content, from mainstory over cadwells, craglorn to cyrodil, you earn more then enough skill points to spend on three or four crafts as well as all your combat stuff...
